A great hotel with a fantastic location. We stayed 3 nights and found the rooms to be big and well equipped. The food was good and something for everyone despite the dining space being busy and the chefs under pressure. They do a great job making sure things are fresh and replenished. The theming is great and entrance to the park is so convenient for the uncharted ride. Do be aware that people start queuing around 90 mins before park opening though! It certainly competes with the theming and service with the Disney hotels we have stayed at. One improvement point was the pull out 4th bed (room 3001) which was not good at all. Part collapsed when up and rattled with bad mattress when on the floor. Our youngest could just cope with it but any bigger would have been an issue. Would happily stay again!

We spent a week here just as the British schools were breaking up. We are a family of 5 so had interconnecting rooms, with one sleeping 4 in a double bed and 2 singles, and one room sleeping 2 in a double bed. We had two bathrooms which was useful. The rooms have a kitchenette which contains a fridge (with shelves - not sure what happened with the previous reviewer!), sink and microwave. There are no utensils, plates etc, and the lack of kettle was slightly upsetting! The air conditioning worked perfectly, and our room was well located opposite the plaza area. We didn't notice any excessive noise, and the hotel is pretty quiet in the evenings due to the proximity to the park. Housekeeping was all good, usually came a bit later in the day rather than early. Our biggest annoyance was the lack of walkway to get out of the hotel when the park was closed. It did feel a bit like being in prison until 10.30 every morning! I think this was down to the recent building works in the water park, so may well be resolved now. All the possible exits and gates we found seemed to be locked. When the park was open it's about 15 minutes into Salou from the front gates. We loved breakfast, but always went prior to 09.00 so no issues with queues. There are plenty of pastries, smoothies, juices and cereals available, and hot options, although we prefer continental. The quality of dinner was not as good, but still fine and we all managed to find enough to eat. Dessert was good, with an ice cream freezer available. The biggest issue with dinner was the lack of drinks - just a water dispenser which isn't particularly cold, and usually difficult to flag someone down for drinks. The drinks themselves were reasonably priced for a hotel though, I think we paid 3,50€ for a cava. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, although we did make efforts to speak in Spanish, even if they quickly switched to English! The dining room staff in particular were lovely. The only time the service felt a bit off was the night of the World Cup final when the staff had been pretty harassed in the hour leading up to kickoff! The guests were about 90% Spanish, Portuguese and French, and we certainly did not encounter any rudeness. We spent a couple of hours at the pools over the week. There were always plenty of sunbeds available and good service at the pool bar. The pools are painted dark as part of the theming which unfortunately makes them feel more like saunas! We would definitely return, it was so convenient for the parks, and the theming was brilliant. It would just be great if walking accessibility could be improved.
