“Very relaxing, easy location”

We quite enjoyed our stay here. The modern decor was clean & inviting. We requested a king size bed and the room was very well laid out. Lots of places to set your personal items and hang your clothes. I think every room has a balcony, but some views are better than others. Check in & any requests with the front desk were easy. They have beach towels at the front desk for a deposit that is returned when you return the towel. As others have mentioned, you can park for free in the beach parking lot right next to the hotel. It is shaded, but spaces are small. I liked that this hotel was smaller than others in the area, but still has a nice bar, restaurant and breakfast buffet. We ate at all 3, and thought they were all good. a special shout out to the blond guy working in the bar, 1 night he was a waiter and another the bar tender---good service, good personality. Loved that there were lots of families in the bar area playing games. It all felt very comunal, but private too if you wanted that. Just an all around easy feeling about this place, which is nice for the beach, right? We didn't get to swim in the pool or the ocean---it was raining hard! We would definitly stay here again. It was very relaxing. *The only thing I wasn't happy about is that we put a DO NOT Disturb sign on the door and the cleaners still came in and cleaned the room. Oh well. They did work hard and keep the hotel clean. I picked this hotel based on the location: the beach and boardwalk are just a few steps outside the door. the boardwalk is extensive with many shops, restaurants, other hotels (some quite big & noisy w/ large groups), families walking, hawkers, bike and beach rentals, plus a view of the bay and swimmers. Easy location for families & lots to do. The area was actually busier than I expected-- with great people watching. However the hotel was quiet. Most of the travelers in this area are European.

“Panoramic suite”

Sorry for the late review but II thought I had already posted it.We stayed in the panoramic suite for 5 days in June and it was incredible.We stayed bed and breakfast but ate twice upstairs for dinner in the algua restaurant . Firstly the room, excellently appointed but initially strange as the bed is situated in the middle of the room.At the back of the room there are 2 large his/hers basins with brilliant mirrors/lighting.There is a very large double walk shower with fantastic pressure(could have easily got 6 people in the showers) and a separate toilet.The only negative item on this whole review is the toilet door(frosted glass but with a 10/12 inch gap at the top and bottom and obviously designed this way,needless to say my wife hated it) The bed was very comfortable and a great mattress with loads of pillows of all different sizes.When lying down on the bed and facing outwards the positioning became clear,it gave a perfect view of the sea and the wider bay with nothing else in view.The tv was a very modern Samsung which we were able to watch our Netflix etc through and had a very good moveable bracket which meant you could watch it from the balcony or the hot tub The balcony is just amazing and absolutely huge.As it is on top floor of the hotel(essentially the roof)and on the front and corner you get direct sun from when the sun comes up to when the sun goes down. You are provided with 2 full sun loungers and there is also a table and 2 chairs for you to have drinks or food on.You are also provided with a large jacuzzi which as you can imagine is fantastic for relaxing in and taking in the unobstructed view or the whole bay.There is a large electric awning which can be be brought down if some shade is required,this also covers the jacuzzi so you can still go in it even if it’s raining,which it did for 1 of the days we were there. We found all the staff to be excellent ,from the housekeeping ladies to the young and energetic bar staff ,to the restaurant manager/maitre de We have already booked again for week this time next and already cannot wait

I recently spent two nights at Maritim Hotel, the first one in a standard ocean view room, the second one in a superior ocean view room. Both rooms were nicely decorated. The whole hotel, probably built in the sixties or seventies, was completely refurbished, and the result was quite good, particularly in the common areas such as the front desk and the bar. The standard room was relatively tiny but well equipped. However, the bed was not very comfortable. The superior room was located at a corner of the building and offered more space with a kind of sofa bed / additional sleeping space. However, for being in a corner of the building, the Internet connection was much weaker. I wanted to use my laptop on the balcony, but it was almost impossible to download emails. However, one of the strongest arguments in favour of Maritim Hotel is location. At walking distance from the city centre but in a residential area, far enough from the noise of the city, especially in high season. The beach is easily accessible, just across the pedestrian walkway. On sunny days, facing the sea and the beach, the bar terrace is a very pleasant place to stay. Breakfast is served in a large and relatively noisy room in the lobby. It offers a broad range of options. There is nothing to complain about. I enjoyed Maritim Hotel and definitely recommend it for a stay in Rozes.
