The hotel was a lovely location near the beach and far enough away from the strip of clubs,bars and shops which is how I imagine benidorm. On arrival our room wasnt ready so we were asked to wait until 4pm but asked at 2pm and we got in. There is €200 holding deposit for the room which is quite a lot of your spending money if you dont expect it! Everyone on reception was nice, all friendly and helpful and the apartments were clean in all areas,reception, bar toilets etc. Bar prices were reasonable €2 for coffee, half pint €3 slushes and nice bar staff too. We only ate their once which was pizza and chips, fine for snacking. Pool area was busy and some people are up early to get their sunbeds but we spent more time at the beach and by afternoon there were always free sunbeds round the pool, nice lifeguard and views and a baby pool. We had a studio for 3 which was perfect, clean with a nespresso machine, brilliant air con, shutters and blackout blinds. Maids were in everyday and left clean towels, refilled soap,made beds etc. It is at the top of a hill worth noting, around €4 taxi

We stayed here for three weeks half board studio sea view. The room was very spacious and had everything, and more, than you need. All the staff were very friendly and professional throughout our stay. Large balcony and shower room. Very clean and house cleaning staff ensured we had changes of towels daily. The pool area and large garden terrace at the hotel rear was immaculately laid out. Great location with local beach and very short boardwalk into the Salou area. This is a well run small family hotel, which is reflected in the size of the pool and restaurant but you never had to wait for tables and there were plenty of sunbeds. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you want to be in a quieter area but close to town.

Hotel located at the top of hill, so not so good for people with mobility issues, or pushchairs. Situated between 2 beaches, platja dels capellans, and platja Llarga on the edge of Salou. Check in - you need your accommodation voucher, so print it off and take it with you, they will ask for it, also makes it quicker. If you are on an early flight, you will have to wait for your room. 5 floors, higher up, better views. 2 lifts, worked quickly, 1 lift down to restaurant and luggage room, other to reception. Rooms - very spacious, 2 large beds, bed settee, TV, 5 English channels. Kitchenette - fridge ( no ice compartment ), hob, microwave, sink, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine ( 3 Pods included ). Washing up bowl, liquid and sponge. Crockery, cutlery, pans, utensils. Really well equipped. Bathroom - large walk in shower, 2 shower heads, free shower gel, hairdryer. Safes are in reception. Balcony - table, chairs, sun lounger, clothes dryer. Breakfast - tea, coffee, juices, water, Full English - bacon, sausages, beans, fresh cooked tomatoes, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Ham, salami, chorizo, cheese. Cereals,chorrios, pastries, fresh fruit. Bread, toast. Not a huge selection,but all good quality, hot, and replenished well. Dinner - free jug of water, salads, soup, cheese, bread, meats, pasta and sauces, chicken, pork, steaks, also cooked to order, fish. Chips, potatoes, rice, veg, paella, pizzas. 2 - 3 hot food choice - chilli, meatballs, chicken and mushroom, varied each night. Cakes, ice cream, fruit. All food hot, and cooked well. Reading room, with free books, free gym, swimming pool with sun bathing area, also one round other side of hotel, with children's play area. Bar, snack bar, outside seating, where singers and entertainment would perform on an evening. Arcade games, pool table, table top football. Reception, and restaurant staff, not on the friendly side. Take your plates away quickly. Staff filling up food and the house keeping team very friendly. Wouldn't pay extra for a sea view, as people we spoke to, didn't get what they expected. Bus stop outside hotel - to centre and other resort. We booked with TUI, the transfer pick up was across the road at the 4R playa park hotel, so give yourself enough time to get there. I think Jet2 is the same. If you can get a holiday for a decent price, you will get a good holiday. We have already booked to go back next year.
