Having read some reviews on this platform, I think some have been very harsh. Accommodation, looks like it has been recently been refurbished and have to say we had a great nights sleep, so no issues. One thing I agree with is that's a bit strange we had crockery ,cutlery etc, but no Kettle, Mentioned it at reception and one was sent straight up straight away. Pool: Only one small issue, a step ladder should also be placed at the shallow end of the pool, to aid older holiday makers who find it difficult Would stay at the hotel again if travelling to Salou, good value , excellent location , food was good something for every one

“Better than expected”

Have just returned from a weeks stay here. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. When we stayed there was a group of teenage school children staying but there was no doors banging and they were very welll behaved. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had a microwave and 2 rings to cook with. There is also a fridge with a freezer compartment and despite having no door the freezer compartment still worked very well. I took my own travel kettle but I believe that you can ask reception for one. We also hired a room safe for our stay although I think the cost was a little steep. 35 euros although you did get 10 back at the end of the stay. We have stayed in hotels where its been free or only about 10 euros. We stayed half board and had no complaints about the food. There was always plenty of choice (at least 2 fish dishes and a meat dish; pasta, salads etc) and each night the chef would cook a speciality meat on a large gas ring. The pool is a little on the small side and its probably not for someone who wants to swim long lengths. One side of the pool is always in shade. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The only downside that we came across the remote control for the TV in a lounge which was very hit and miss. I am sure if we'd gone to reception to ask for new batteries they would have been forthcoming but we didnt watch the TV that much although we did try to find one of the England games but without success. The wifi is also terrible (that's if you can get a signal. There is a big sign in reception saying free wifi but everywhere in the building we struggled to get a signal. This is something that the hotel needs to improve. The hotel is well located and is about a 7 minute walk to the beach. There are also bus stops nearby to take you to the local towns. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and if I decided to go back to Salou I would definately stay here again as it was good value for money.

“Good apartments”

Great location, close to beach, strip, shops. Supermarket right outside. Really nice staff. Pool wasn't very big but wasn't too bad. We were able to use the sister hotel for pools and entertainment which was great as no music or entertainment at the apartment pool or bar. Very clean and fresh apart… more

Great location, close to beach, strip, shops. Supermarket right outside. Really nice staff. Pool wasn't very big but wasn't too bad. We were able to use the sister hotel for pools and entertainment which was great as no music or entertainment at the apartment pool or bar. Very clean and fresh apartments, good size balcony with the superior rooms.Food was good, always found something nice. Did hear doors banging now and then but not too bad. Could do with door stoppers to help with this. Not really a place I'd take a big group of kids, There were more older people relaxing. My dad (68) enjoyed the peace and quiet My daughter 8yrs enjoyed it here but not much going on for kids. We were out most of the time as magic park and bosc park are few min walk. Would return as I thought it was value for money for location and service.

We are currently staying in the California apartments. Good staff breakfast and dinner Good. Room service brilliant Nice location spacious apartment. No Electric kettle or toast in the kitchen we had a lovely quiet few days before a few families arrived with very noisy children banging doors bouncing a ball on the balcony children that should be in school The door should be soft closing . So unless things change I wouldn't be coming back. Which is a shame because up until then we were having a lovely relaxing holiday 😎
