“Nice clean hotel but ruined by noisy students”

Stayed here for 10 nights in June. Located in a quiet location about 10-15 min walk from main strip. Allocated a room with a view of the old train track at back of hotel which is what we paid for as pool views can be noisier. Well we soon found out that this hotel is noisy everywhere. The movement of furniture on balconies and in apartments can be heard. The walls are thin so I could hear my neighbour snoring for the first few nights but when a group of Spanish students moved in a few days later that took the noise to another level. They were out on their balcony until after midnight (2am on one occasion), just chatting as if it was the afternoon. We asked them to turn the music off and keep quiet but it only restarted when theh returned to the room at 6am from wherever they were. We made the hotel reception aware on 3 seperate occasions and finally after absolutely zero sleep we requested to be moved to a different room. The hotel acknowledged the problem and were very apologetic and we were moved to a quieter corridor quickly but I don’t think they addressed the actual issue. Putting groups of students amongst families in any hotel is never going to end well but they said that it was out of their control. Anyway the positives are; Spotless hotel, probably the cleanest we have stayed in ever. Most staff extremely friendly and helpful. Close to a Mercadona supermarket (much better choice and price than the Michelangelo shops on the strip) Bar snacks were good quality and service was good Pedro and his assistance do a great job with the entertainment, water mat being our favourite 😊 Proximity to a fabulous beach-5 mins walk Negatives; Too many students allowed to stay here, a large amount were checking in as we left, I was never as glad to be leaving a hotel in my life Breakfast buffet is very limited, mostly same choices every morning Lifts are small and slow- request a low floor so that you can use the stairs Lack of mirrors in the rooms, only one in the bathroom, not ideal when sharing accomodation. The clothes dryer in our original room must have been 50 years old! Be great if these were ugraded The main lifeguard doesn’t allow any balls in the pool or anywhere near it and no inflatables, the relief lifeguards are a bit more lenient Overall we had a nice holiday, I don’t like to complain and have never had to change rooms before but if I had known about the noise I would never have booked here. It is more suitable for students but unfortunately for the hotel the students are not the clientelle who are spending money there so they should rethink the allocation of rooms going forward.

“Useful information especially as first time guests”

We are currently here. Its our first time staying here and even though we arrived late to our accommodation it would have been helpful to be given information about the complex as to what they offer. We didn't realise there us no onsite shop or what activities our son can attend and where they are… more

“Busy family hotel”

We stayed room only so cannot comment on food. Room was on the road side above entrance and was really peaceful. Room was clean and well maintained. Kitchen had all you could need. Great location a short walk to beach, bars and shops but in a quiet area. My only complaint is that the pool area… more

Great location a short walk to beach, bars and shops but in a quiet area. My only complaint is that the pool area is just too small and not enough sunbeds during the day. Reception staff were excellent
