What a great hotel from the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome, the food was excellent with a great choice for breakfast ,lunch and dinner. Pool area was very clean and were always able to get sunbed. Great entertainment for both kids and adults, the bar staff were amazing and friendly especially Diego, juan and Pedro. Will definitely be returning. Rooms always clean and fresh towels everyday. Was there from 1st - 8th july

“Excellent Hotel to visit for a great holiday.”

Just back from an fantastic experience at this hotel. Location is a few minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurant area and so away from the noise. There's a back entrance through gregal bar which is a bit of a short cut. A handful of supermarkets within 10 mins walk so if not AI you can stock up on essentials easily. Gluten free foods - mostly schar brand- available at all the bigger ones we visited. Theme park is a half hour walk or €15-18 in a taxi. No Uber or bolt in salou but hotel can call you a taxi and there are some waiting outside the theme park if you need a lift back. We had no problem getting wheelchair accessible ones - lots of VW caddy with ramp and even more in people carrier style with a boot big enough to hold a folding one. Taxis aren't for those of a nervous disposition though. I don't think we lasted a whole journey under the speed limit even in built up areas. Accessibility -wise it's pretty good. There's a very steep ramp outside the bar joined at reception but if you go past bar towards the stage there's a better option. Gregal bar also has a somewhat steep ramp up to it but no alternative there. Accessible toilets in multiple places. Our room was not listed as wheelchair accessible though as our family member is ambulant we didn't need one, but they did give us a room just as you come out of the lift so easy to access. Shower had a small step into it, and a lip out to the balcony. No grab handles or similar anywhere in bathroom like some hotels have. I have no doubt if theres accessibility requirements they will be happy to accommodate. We were there for 10 days and found it not too busy. Always sunbeds available somewhere and many in full sun or almost full shade almost the whole day if that's what you want. The bigger kiddie pool is in shade for a lot of the day too, which was great. No lifeguard at the kiddie pools, and the one at the floaty pool where we mostly sat wasn't there very consistently. -getting up to walk about out of sight of the pool. That pool does get deep enough (7ft?) so sensible precautions needed and don't rely on the lifeguard which I guess is good advice anywhere. Lifeguard seemed consistent at the slides, though we didn't spend much time there. If planning to sit on the benches up there, do bring a towel to sit on - they get very hot! Lots of activities set up for kids, teens and adults. Only one we tried was aquagym which was a laugh. Bar areas seemed pretty busy at night but we didn't stay down to watch any of the shows. We stayed in the building above the Gregal bar and the gym, which I think is all family suites. Sespite hotel being fairly full and being right beside the lifts, we didn't hear too much noise unless it was an especially rowdy family. Our balcony overlooked the parking and a different hotels pool and got sun in the evenings which was lovely. The balcony has dining set and clothes airer. The room has a kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave and kettle. Bathroom was modern and clean. Rain shower and a handheld shower available. Latter was great for the kids. Shampoo/body wash and conditioner attached to the wall but I didn't use it. Housekeeping kept the place spotless. The food is the main thing we will be coming back for though. We had a person in our group with a gluten intolerance and were shown around every mealtime for what is safe and isn't. It is a buffet style so always risk of cross contamination by guests, but we tried to get there early and I served using the tongs so the person didn't have to touch them. They are fairly sensitive and had no symptoms the whole 10 days we were there. For breakfast they have a table of gf products including individually wrapped options,beside the greeters, and we had fresh pancakes cooked in front of us. We were able to order gf pasta or pizza at breakfast for lunch or dinner and they can make gf fries if needed (ones on buffet are made in same oil as non-gf food) We were able to find a gf potato product every night without asking for chips though. In fact I'd say about half the trays were gf food. Only issue I saw was they said the chocolate fountain was gf, but we saw lots of people sticking gluten containing foods in it so obviously contaminated. Anyone who needs gf will prob know to avoid this sort of thing anyway! Gregal bar also has gf pizza, fries and wings available to order. I think I read gf beer too, but not something they tried. We all enjoyed the food and felt that even when we sampled lots of things on the same night we still didn't get bored as things were so rarely repeated. My kids even tried some new things...though mostly they tried the soft serve ice cream machine - a delight for kids and adults alike! Staff were all lovely, and helpful. Finally, there was a book swap shelf plus a spacious room for leaving luggage if you aren't leaving til later in the day. Oh and scales for checking your case before you head to the airport costs €1. We will definitely be back to this hotel. Nicest ones we have stayed at in Salou and surrounding area.

“Perfect for families, be aware of noise”

Spotless hotel and perfect for families! Brilliant choice of pools etc. The food in the main restaurant was fantastic. Spotless hotel and perfect for families! Brilliant choice of pools etc. The food in the main restaurant was fantastic. All the staff were brilliant, we even got a surprise gift for our 10 year anniversary which was so thoughtful. Brilliant location too! The only downside was the noise of the nighttime entertainment was SO SO loud (we were on the 1st floor), not ideal when I had a 16 month old to keep asleep! All in all a wonderful hotel and one I would recommend if you’re able to attend the night time entertainment with older kids.. maybe not if you’re like us and have a baby or younger child who needed to be asleep as the noise on the first floor was so so loud until around 23:00.
