We enjoyed our week here with the family, the hotel is in a quiet location , beach is about a 20min walk away where there are shops and restaurants. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff , we were quickly shown to our room, The room was very clean and beds were comfy, however they are very small, tiny bathroom and shower over the bath with a shower curtain. The basin was actually in the bedroom which seems strange. The balcony very small too and only one chair! Wardrobe space is minimal and no drawers whatsoever, these rooms could do with a little TLC The lift to the upper floors was in my opinion a bit dodgy, stopped at any floor it liked and did not register the correct floor. The food was very nice and mostly hot, not lots to choose but adequate ,plates were sometimes dirty which isn’t good when they are stacked for people to use , dining room is small but I liked that as it was not too overwhelming, all staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff were great too, quick service , had to pay €1 for your reusable tumbler . I would prefer proper glasses during the evening for my drinks although I understand plastic is safer. Entertainment was always on along with bingo, no where to sit in the evening other than outside terrace or bar area, it was always very busy. Would have been good to sit in a separate lounge sometimes The pool area was ok , 2 swimming pools and an outside snack bar which was good. Not enough sunbeds . Bit of a rush in the mornings and if you weren’t there for 9am it was a struggle to get one and although it says not to reserve them by leaving towels on however lots did which is annoying. Not enough sun brollies and most of ones they had were broken , The adult only rooftop with 2 hotubs was a nice peaceful place to relax . Children were running up and down our corridor and banging on the guests bedrooms doors late at night, not good when you are trying to get to sleep, there are signs stating children must not do this but obviously Their parents weren’t aware . The hotel itself was clean, staff friendly, room service everyday and we have enjoyed our visit , just small niggles . Not too sure I would return
