Our first stay and we were very pleased. Staff very helpful and friendly, our room was in the pavillion and its was very clean and the bed very comfortable. There was a very small balcony. The hotel cleaning staff do an excellent job our room was serviced everyday clean towels and the room always smelt fresh. Buffet breakfast was excellent so much choice and the opening hours meant no pressure to be up at a certain time which was excellent. The pool area is tiny and disappointingly people still insisted on reserving beds with towels we spent everyday on the beach which was lovely and a short walk through Sitges. This hotel is comfortable, very clean, welcoming and we would definitely return.

Yet again another warm welcome from the Galeon Hotel. My friends had booked the pavilion rooms, whilst I had my first stay in the main hotel complex. Having booked late I was not expecting the best room, but the Galeon did not disappoint me. Room 302 was a large front of the hotel facing. Super big bed (you could fit 4 people ). Good size bathroom with large walk in shower. Bright and clean. Breakfast has now been extended until 1pm (as a Brunch). Breakfast is superb as always. there is something for everyone, hot and cold selections. The staff are warm and friendly and are so helpful. You can hire parasols and beach towels. They will arrange taxi's to take you to the airport or advise on bus or train options. The pool area is small with only a few beds and a jacuzzi, but the beach's are a short walk. The pavilion has a small solarium with a few beds and a jacuzzi. Sitges is a beautiful place with plenty of places to eat and drink. Great place to relax and unwind, and the Galeon is perfectly located. Close to the train station, a short walk to the beaches. I will always look forward to returning to the Galeon.

Excellent hotel . Good location massive room & Twas da standard one Bed was 7 ft wide & comfortable. Fantastic bathroom. Shower was futuristic. No balcony but lovely city view& buzzing. Small pool lovely pool area . Lovely jacuizzi, breakfast first class , great variety, even Cava& lovely omelettes. Free tea& coffee & biscuits in da afternoon. Staff couldn’t do enough for u. & €2 for a glass of wine & €2 60 for a bottle of Heineken great value all round

There are many strengths about this property. Great location, very helpful staff, delicious food, spacious room, and bathroom. However, our experience was unfortunate otherwise. The hotel has many Tripadvisor recommendations, but it is a tired property. Both the rooms and public spaces are drab, dreary, and seriously need updating. Our first day, the floor in our room had not been swept. Also, for example, there is no dish to put your bar of soap in, so we had to put it on the wooden vanity. Four paper cups, a small pack of Kleenex. Otherwise, lotion, shampoo, and body wash were in pumps, which is great. In addition, we didn’t have hot water the first day. Because we thought it was due to the morning rush, we didn’t say anything. But when we tried to take a shower that afternoon, it was no better. So we called the front desk and they sent up a plumber who did what he could, but the water was never hot. The first night, the air-conditioning was almost too much. We had to adjust it. However, the next morning, there was no air-conditioning and that didn’t change. I brought the Hotel, asking for a 50% adjustment to our room rate, which I thought was reasonable. The response was an abrupt. We will offer you €50, we fix the hot water (they did not), and they knew about the air conditioning. My response to them was that this was unsatisfactory and that they shouldn’t sell the room. If you’re willing to put up with this, it’s a great property. But there are many others to choose from.
