We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the walk-in shower accessible. Our room was on the ground floor near the main building and had a lovely terrace where we enjoyed relaxing and chatting. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and very restful. The pool area was also very nice though the water was a bit cold, so we only used it briefly. Parking was free with plenty of spots. The breakfasts were excellent with hot food such as eggs and omelets cooked to order and a nice selection of buffet choices. We also ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the service, food quality, and atmosphere were all very good. The staff are all very professional and accommodating. When we were making reservations from the U.S. and had some issues with the credit card deposit, the staff were helpful and very prompt in responding to our emails and confirming our reservations. It's hard to believe how one can go from a busy highway to serene countryside so quickly. The fact that it is very close to the highway makes it easy to reach within a short drive from Barcelona. It was also a nice base for exploring Tarragona and the nearby beach towns. However, we were glad that we had GPS and looked at a map in advance so we would know how to navigate the highway exit and roundabouts. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we'd recommend it highly!

We stayed for one night at the hotel, en route to Valencia, in a suite plus, as well as having dinner. We chose La Boella as it was about the right distance in the journey for us, and it is just 2 minutes from the AP7 road. It’s also about 10 minutes from Reus airport, but you would not be aware of it, with virtually no noise from the departing planes. Without a doubt it was a good choice. The ex-olive mill is surrounded now by vegetable fields, the original olive trees having been mostly removed, and is extremely peaceful, the gardens well maintained and quite beautiful. The building, likewise is also well maintained, and our room reasonably large and comfortable, the bed especially, we had a very good night’s sleep. Dinner was served in the dining room, with a good selection of locally sourced dishes, and wine, both of which were of high quality. Finally, the staff were great, both friendly and good at their jobs, so overall it was a very enjoyable stay. Overall we can recommend the hotel, both for an overnight stop en route to the south, and as a base to explore the Tarragona region, which is certainly worth a visit

“We love La Boella!”

We love La Boella! An oasis of tranquility, luxury and fabulous food and wine plus so conveniently located to the airport. We had a wonderful family gathering over an outstanding tasting menu and wine flight which introduced us to yet more wonderful local wines.

Great overall experience, amazing facility, great food. However, there are some things I wouldn't expect from a hotel this level. I had a very bad night of sleep, as there was noise from 6 AM. I think they were working on the wedding that had taken place the night before, so there was a constant noise of some kind of motor. At 8 AM someone started with a leaf blower right in front of our room. I don't understand that and it's not what I would expect from a nice retreat. I would have said this if we were asked how our stay was, but that was not the case, which I also don't really understand. Other than that, everything was really nice and i would definitely go back if I could have a normal night of sleep.
