Cannot think of anything bad about this hotel. I travelled with a friend the room was spotless, clean towels everyday and fantastic views from our room on the 10th floor. Reception was lovely and the staff all friendly and let us keep our room for free on our day of departure when my friend was ill. The pool area was just perfect, plenty of sun loungers and a lovely poolside bar that did amazing cocktails. The bar staff were lovely friendly ola every morning. Now onto the food which was exceptional, breakfast especially was good in the show cooking area on a morning the chef did fried eggs, poached eggs if requested. Plenty of choice for everyone fruits,pastries,cereals, sausages,beans, amazing and something for everyone. Dinner was great too lots of choice. We absolutely loved our week's stay here in a quieter part of benidorm but if you want a good night out taxi's were reasonable into the old town or strip. Thank you torre dorada staff for a lovely week.

Fantastic hotel with amazing views of the sea if you pay for a sea view. Spotless inside and out. Fantastic food for breakfast with cava, lovely little touch🥂 the staff we very helpful and booked us a taxi into the busy part of Benidorm 12 euros there but definitely worth it. You can walk but it is a 45 minute walk. There are some lovely restaurants just around the corner that are very reasonably priced. We went as a group of 4 women in our early fifties and we had a fabulous time from start to finish. This hotel is perfect for staying out of the main hustle bustle but within distance to explore it too

Lovely stay at the Torre Dorada for 5 nights with my friend and her little one. Arrived around 12:30pm and checked in straight away. Room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge, TV with English channels (incase you are interested), free safe, good bathroom (ours had a walk-in shower), a full length mirror and another above the dressing table, lots of sockets. The balcony for a family room was also of a good size. I brought my own kettle! I liked the fact that the hotel only has 13 floors - it didn’t feel too big. The hotel has at least 5 lifts too so this was never a problem. Pool is fantastic, a large, rectangular pool perfect for swimming in. There is a small pool for very young children, although most used the main pool with swimming aids/adult supervision. The play area was a huge hit with the children too. Huge plus, loads of sunbeds available all day - I was pleasantly surprised for the last week of August. I commented that there weren’t so many English guests, which was actually nice, more Spanish and Portuguese. The hotel explained that they had had many English guests earlier in the main season. We stayed half board - couldn’t fault the breakfast, and the evening meals were ok too. We had Roast Beef on the Sunday! Spaghetti Bolognaise may be something that would go down well too. (One small point that would improve the dining experience is if the hotel group were to consider replacing the blue tables in the restaurant with something more neutral and stylish, should they invest in updating this area in the future). We ordered pizzas at the pool bar when we arrived - these were really tasty…especially after travelling since the early hours. Location wise… you need to drag your suitcases up an incline to start with, but it was worth it! We walked down to Cala Finestrat (left at the yellow postbox), or go 100 yards or so to the right at the end of the road to the bus-stop. Catch the number 2 or the 3 to Old Town Benidorm for €1.60 (pay cash to the driver and they give you change). Cafe Heat opposite the bus-stop is a good shout. Or you can turn right out of the hotel reception and shortly after the car park you’ll find some steps down to the beautiful Poniente Beach. Enjoy:)

Lovely hotel views from room were stunning day and night. This hotel sits on a really steep bank defiantly not for the less mobile certainly put my calf muscles to the test. Steps not far from hotel down to the lovely beach. We did walk back up them one day and one day only. They are a killer. After check in you can use your room car to access the gate at the bottom of the bank. A lift takes you up to the pool area and reception a godsend in the sweltering heat. Rooms were nice clean but basic we were on the 8th floor views were stunning but our balcony railing was a little loose which made me a bit uneasy been near it. We booked bed breakfast and evening meal. Breakfast was nice continental and English, breakfast doesn't start till 8am and finishes at 10am. Evening meal was OK more catered for the Spanish, we only ate there 2 of the 5 nights which was a little disappointing after paying for it. We didn't see much evening entertainment going on. Bar food was very limited however drinks were pretty reasonable. Some bar staff were a bit off with English guests but fine with Spanish guests. Some Spanish guests were rude which I didn't like. We did venture into town on the local bus which stops down the bank and round the corner from hotel €1.60 per person you can go as far as you want for that price. Lovely hotel but more catered towards Spanish guests. La Cala is a lovely place away from the busy centre of benidorm but benidorm centre easily reached by bus or taxi. I would definitely stay in La Cala again just not in this hotel felt uncomfortable some days which is a shame.
