After reading some of the reviews for this hotel I was definitely expecting the worst however on arriving at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 101, our room was basic but clean, we had a corner balcony with a view of both the pool and up into the hills which was nice. The beds were firm but still comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday along with fresh sheets and towels. Breakfast was undoubtedly the best meal, lots to choose from, cooked breakfast/ croissants & pastries/ even pancakes and churros on some days. Lunch was nice depending on your tastes but always plenty of meats and salad to choose from. Chips and pasta are available everyday too. Dinner was also nice with lots of choice. I especially enjoyed the burger and fajita night. The effort this hotel puts into their food is fantastic, especially the desserts for Halloween - (see pics) well done chefs! Burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches are available everyday at the snack bar between meal times. All the staff were polite and helpful. All the main areas were clean bright and air conditioned. The choice of cocktails included in the all inclusive are fantastic. The entertainment was good - we especially enjoyed bingo and the Disney show. The hotel organised lots of Halloween activities for the children including trick or treating round the hotel and pumpkin carving. The pool area was clean and we never struggled to get a sun bed. The hotel has 4 different pools including one on the roof which Is cool! The hotel is in a good location, around 10 minute walk to the beach and town centre. The indoor pool and spa area is lovely, free of charge, you just have to book in and you have a 45 minute slot. The only cons of this hotel for us were that the restaurant got extremely busy in the evenings, one night in particular we couldn’t stand up from our table without getting stuck in a que. Another thing being rather than wristbands for the all inclusive, you get cards which you have to give to the bar staff to receive your cup and then return your cups at the end and get your cards back. This lead to us queuing in long ques at the bar some nights just to give our cups in and get our cards so we could go to bed. The entertainment is on until around midnight and it was quite loud in our room but luckily we didn’t have many early nights. All in all we had a fantastic weeks stay!
