Hotel staff were super efficient and extra friendly. The hotel itself was extremely clean and fresh looking and smelling. Everyone went their way to help. The pool bar was a little slow to get served in but it’s not full on season. The sky bar was incredible we definitely didn’t spend so much time there as we should have. Situated in the heart of everything, literally we couldn’t have booked a more perfectly placed hotel.

“Wonderful stay”

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to restaurants, shops, and the gay district, short walk down to the beach. Modern room was a good size and clean, each one has a balcony. Lovely hotel in a great location, close to restaurants, shops, and the gay district, short walk down to the beach. Modern room was a good size and clean, each one has a balcony. Beautiful, relaxing pool area with good sun. Concerning that they allow glass by the pool, too risky. Terra buffet restaurant was good but food a bit bland. Vertigo (odd name) rooftop lounge has lovely views and a cool vibe for relaxing drinks. Overall a great hotel and we would stay again.

We came here for a short break and selected the Aluasoul for its adults only and the My Favourite Club upgrade. The previous reviews were mostly good and we chose to ignore those that weren’t so good with a degree of pragmatism. However upon arrival, our room was not available from the 2pm checkin as advised. When we did get our room 1 and 1/2 hours later it had non of the my favourite benefits such as stocked mini bar, dressing gowns, slippers and extended toiletries pack. We went back to reception and suggested maybe they had put is in the wrong room. We were given another room on a higher floor, which still didn’t have all of the perks included. The complimentary safe in the room also gave an error message. We went back to reception to note the missing items and re the safe we should have been given a code which they duly provided. Later we asked for pool towels to which we were told a €10 each deposit was required. However again part of the My Favourite Club benefits the towels were supposed to be complimentary. We went later and asked another staff member who gave the towels without the deposit. What was most frustrating of all, it wasn’t just us. Everyone we spoke to was having similar problems regardless of which tour operator they had booked with. Conversely it appeared that local speaking business travellers were being booked in without any issues. We were only here for 3 nights. After numerous attempts of trying to resolve the issues we took to making a complaint to the tour operator and on the last night, the missing benefits were provided by one the cleaners. There was no apology or any apparent senior management to direct our complaint to. The hotel itself was amazing and as advertised. The facilities were great and the location was very central and just a short wall to the train station. However the checkin experience and lack of understanding of the My Club Benefits by the staff was just absolutely diabolical and we was won’t be retuning or recommending this hire to anyone.

Great location, rooms good however balcony very dirty glass and rail dirty , no where to hang towel or swim wear , cleaning staff and breakfast staff very polite , reception staff however need more traing , rang down 3 times no one answered phone , key card didnt work a couple of times and was told by reception staff maybe its your fault for keeping it with your phone , however this wasnt the case as it was in my wallet , with a reply maybe its your other cards , think hotel needs to update key access, over all i would star this hotel 3* , needs a lot of improvement .
