2026 was our 7th family stay at Cambrils Park. As with all previous years, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay ! We stayed for 9 nights in June 2026, in the Villa Bonitas. The changes made since our last stay are impressive, such as 1) The new stage area. The 'floaty' pool has been filled in and the entertainment stage has been extended. This is a welcome change, as previously the floaty pool was always a risk to small kids falling in whilst the shows weere ongoing. The new stage is big, modern and impressive 2) The upgraded play area out the back of the forum. The two new mini astro pitches are really good, as is the new sand trampoline. 3) I did not get to go to the upgraded playground, but my kids stated that it was fantastic I also want to acknowledge other improvements - the food is noticably better than previous years. We ate in the Forum a few times as well as the Pariso restaurant. The quality of food and service has greatly improved, which is obviously a welcome change. The pools continue to be really good and safe. The bakery is getting more popular every year and there is a reason for this - it is really fantastic. The laundry service (€11 for a bag of clothes washed and dried) is top class. The onsite supermarket continues to be very reasonably priced. The nighttime entertainment is decent and it is always really relaxing sitting out in the evening/night having a drink whilst the kids enjoy the entertainment. The staff are also very pleasant , particularly in the reception area's. Some area's for improvement 1) The outside of the VA Villa Bonitas, is not as weedy and grubby as last year but I plead/beg you to reform them to their former glory with grass outside. The stones outside make them look really untidy, and also it totally deprives kids of a social outlet. Before 2025 when we stayed in the VA Villa Bonita's, our kids would be outside playing on the grass and meeting kids from neighboring houses. Now the kids do not mix as it is not possible to play on the untidy stones and weeds. 2) The queues to get drinks at the bar are still bad. There has got to be a better way to allow people to buy drinks in a timely manner. Sometimes I queued up to 20 minutes to get a drink. This is not acceptable. 3) Now that the main 'floaty' pool is gone, there should be a designated alternative pool for floaties. We hope to return for our 8th year in 2027, however we will definitely be booking a VB Villa Bonita so that our kids can play on the grass. As stated already the outside of the VA Villa Bonita's is a mess.

We have just arrived home from a week's holiday at Cambrils Park Resort as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 5), and we absolutely loved it. We are already looking forward to returning next year! We flew into Reus Airport and simply took a taxi to the resort, which cost around €40. One tip for new visitors: make sure you tell the driver which accommodation you're staying in, as there are different reception areas depending on whether you're staying in the Aloha Bungalows or Mediterranean Apartments. Check-in was quick and efficient. You do need to pay a security deposit, but ours was returned promptly a couple of days after check-out. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a MED1 upper-floor apartment and were very impressed when we arrived. It was spotlessly clean, modern, and furnished to our taste. There were a few minor marks around the apartment, but nothing that made it feel tired or neglected. The food on site was decent and offered good value for money. We ate several times at the main restaurant where the evening entertainment takes place and found there was plenty of choice for both adults and children. We spent around €60 per evening for our family of four, which felt very reasonable. While the food wasn't particularly memorable, there was always something to suit everyone and we never struggled to find a meal we enjoyed. We also ate at La Masia, which we really liked. The burger was especially good, and the children's carbonara portions were very generous—so much so that my husband and I ended up helping to finish them! The entertainment was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. The timing worked really well, meaning there was no rush from the pool to the evening shows. The on-site supermarket was well stocked and reasonably priced. Although there's a Mercadona nearby, we never felt the need to leave the resort to buy essentials. The bakery was another highlight—especially the Nutella-filled croissants. At €2 each, they were a hit with the whole family. Just make sure you have some wipes handy! Our daughters had their hair braided in the salon, which they absolutely loved. Prices were €15 and €25 respectively. The stylist only accepts cash and is extremely popular, so be prepared to queue. We waited around an hour, but she worked quickly and efficiently through customers. The resort itself is beautifully maintained. The gardens, pathways, and facilities are all immaculate. If I had one small observation, it would be that some of the white chairs around the bakery and supermarket area could do with a deep clean, and some of the fabric seating near the children's play area was looking a little worn and stained. These are very minor points, however, and didn't affect our enjoyment of the resort. We also rented bikes for two days and found the service excellent. The bikes were a great way to get around the resort and surrounding area. The children's trailers could perhaps benefit from a quick wipe-down between hires, but again, this is a very minor observation. Whenever we needed a taxi, reception arranged one for us within minutes. The service was incredibly efficient every time. The only area where our experience fell slightly short was housekeeping. We appreciate that the accommodation is self-catering, but some aspects didn't quite match the information provided on the website. Our sofa bed hadn't been made up on arrival, and after unsuccessful attempts to call both the housekeeping number and reception, my husband had to collect the bedding himself from reception. We also noticed that used towels and bath mats left for replacement were simply moved rather than exchanged, and toiletries such as shower gel and conditioner were not replenished during our stay. For a family of four staying for a week, one small hand soap wasn't quite enough. Additionally, housekeeping attempted to enter our apartment at 9am on check-out day despite check-out not being until 11am and our children still being asleep. None of these issues were major, but they are areas that could easily be improved. The pools were absolutely fantastic. We mainly used the Mediterranean Pool and the Caribbean Pool and found both to be clean, well maintained, and a comfortable temperature. The only challenge was finding a parasol. If you want a front-row lounger with shade, you'll need to be there when the pool opens at 10am, as many guests reserve them early, however don't return until a few hours later. A few more parasols would be a welcome addition. Overall, we had a wonderful first stay at Cambrils Park Resort. The accommodation, facilities, food, entertainment, and overall atmosphere were excellent. Despite a few minor housekeeping issues, we wouldn't hesitate to return and are already planning next year's visit. We can't wait to start making family memories here year after year!

“Terrible pool situation.”

We used to come here all the time because we loved it and returned this year after a gap of a few years. We were surprised to realise that you now have to pack up all of your belongings every day at 2pm and vacate the pool areas for one hour. Then, you have to drag all of your stuff back at 3 pm to queue again for the pool loungers. It’s ridiculous and does not make for a relaxing holiday. Also, there aren’t nearly enough umbrellas and a significant number of the loungers are broken and unsafe. There’s little variety across the menus in the various restaurants so choice is limited. The supermarket used to deliver your groceries if the bill was over €50 but we were told no today when we asked for that service. Cambrils Park has changed in the intervening years, but many of the changes aren’t for the better, unfortunately. It still has many great points and if you’re not pushed about the pool, you’ll probably love it, but the pool situation means we won’t be back.
