I stayed in a Junior suite which was described as a sea/ pool view and that is the view I enjoyed from my large and private balcony. Very nice. The room was of generous proportions with a larger than king size double bed which was also very comfortable. Only downside was no English channels on 42" tv but some would see that as an advantage. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, from the plentiful breakfast to the evening dinner. The dinner was of a quality I have not come across in a hotel restaurant before, it was varied and very well presented. The bar in the hotel was a bit clinical , and entertainment could have been better. Drinks reasonably priced. The hotel is practically on the beach. The area the hotel is in is very quiet, it is a good trek to any bars I did not find any entertainment but it is early in season. Would I stay again. Yes, without doubt, but I would get a taxi into Cambril's about 1.5 miles away to seek out a bit of entertainment.

Just back from a week in this hotel and it was great. The location is amazing, right on the beach although beware of the road behind the hotel that leads directly onto the beach. It is used by joggers, cyclists, e-scooters and I even saw the odd e-unicyclist and Segway. The hotel is situated between Salou and Cambrils with bus stops to both resorts right outside the hotel. I’d recommend getting a T-10 bus card (€10) from the supermarket across the road from the hotel. The buses don’t appear to run to any particular timetable as you can wait for 20-30 mins for one and two or three appear within minutes of each other. The hotel staff are nice, friendly and very hard-working. Hotel is extremely clean and the restaurant staff are exceptionally fast and informative. Food was excellent and varied with something for everyone. I’d advise taking the hour long catamaran trip from Port Cambrils (€10) although we missed out on the tourist train as it only runs from Wednesday to Sunday, so beware! We were there on a TUI package deal and the rep, Shauna, was lovely and extremely helpful. The whole holiday from start to finish was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable.

5 night stay booked through love holidays for 2 women in their 30s. Good hotel to relax, close to the beach and easy access to nearby towns. Be mindful that if you are going in their off season there isn’t much to do in the hotel and very hard to get taxis. (Detailed review below) If you’re booking with love holidays, DO NOT get the shuttle transfer… it took longer for us to get on the bus and to our hotel than the flight itself! The hotel is 17 minutes away - get a taxi! Hotel: Grounds are lovely, as you walk in you have a great sea view. Check in was smooth and staff at the desk were always helpful. Huge shout out to Ingrid she was amazing, answered the 1million questions we had and was extremely personable. The cleaners really take pride in what they do, they were very polite and kept the communal areas tidy too. Clientele: We were some of the youngest people there, the hotel definitely attracts a much more mature crowd 50+. We were there to relax so didn’t have a problem with this, but if you’re looking for something more lively with a younger crowd… I wouldn’t say this is the hotel for you. Rooms: I stayed in room 2025 it was clean, spacious, good wardrobe space and had lovely toiletries laid out. The beds are extremely firm. Major downside: the walls are paper thin! The first night I had to endure the people next door being intimate! (Luckily for me but not her, it didn’t last very long). I could hear peoples conversations as if they were in my room, people walking around and moving the chair in the room above and of course people in the hallway. As someone who is a light sleeper this did affect me… I suggest bring headphones or earplugs. Food: We had half board so opted for breakfast and dinner daily. Lots of options and fresh food, there is definitely something for everyone. The chefs in charge of the fish and meat grill were very good! The waiters are very attentive, they will provide drinks and will clear your plate quickly. We ate at the snack bar twice, the menu isn’t great - my friend doesn’t eat seafood or pork and that makes up the majority of the menu. Facilities: They have an indoor bar area, games room, children’s area with a soft play and garden space. They have a gym and spa area that you can book for 45 minutes (best to book the day before as only 6 people are allowed in at once) We used the spa room twice, it contains a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, private toilet and two relaxing chairs. We were really disappointed to hear that the usual masseuse wasn’t working there so no massages! You can rent normal and electric bikes - we did electric €15 for 2 hours. We didn’t use the pool as it was too cold. We didn’t see any animation staff until our last day - she was doing a stretching session. There were two nights of planned entertainment (not our thing so we didn’t watch them) but we were surprised there wasn’t something on each evening. Free wifi which is always helpful! Location: You are steps away from the beach which has beautiful soft sand! There were sun-beds but they were locked up. There is a supermarket opposite and another 2 minutes away if you turn right out of the hotel. A couple of restaurants but most were closed. The main part of Cambrils isn’t far away and has much more going on! 10 mins by bus, 15mins by bike and 30min walk. The bus stops right outside the hotel which is great. You can get a T10 bus pass which is €10 for 10 rides. We took the bus into Tarragona too (nice port but not much else to do). The bus can take you to Cambrils, Salou, Tarragona, Port Adventura, Barcelona and Reus airport! So great, if you want to get around. We chose to go into Barcelona for the day so planned to get a taxi to Cambrils station, we were really disappointed as the taxi service didn’t show up! We ended up getting the bus into Cambrils and just waiting for a taxi (45mins) to the station… luckily we didn’t miss the next train. The train back was delayed but it was also extremely hard to get a taxi back to the hotel, not ideal after a long day! Overall we had a good time and for a relaxing holiday I would go back.

So, this place was generally lovely and clean. I'm a lone, female traveller and my transfer bus initially dropped me off at the wrong place. Once I got to the right hotel I was a little distressed. The person who checked me in, a man named David was absolutely amazing. There were two members of staff, slightly older gentlemen and they were both really personable and kind. Ingrid and Yulia were also realy helpful and patient as I quizzed them about local catamaran tours. There was another older gentleman, I think he was named Urias who was great. The hotel itself was kept well and looked lovely. I upgraded from the room I was initially put it. The first room was exceptionally clean and everything looked new. The room I upgraded to was only 10 euros per night incremented and was a little more worn and not so clean (a mirror had a permenant mark and there were hairs in random places from previous guests). It was pool/sea view. I was a little shocked on my first night when I realised it was also directly above the poolside stage and live show. The room was one of the first out of the elevators so cleaning didn't happen on some days and I wonder if they were tired by the time they got around to mine. There was a younger lady with dark hair who cleaned later on in my stay and did a notably better job than the previous days. The restuarant was a little overwhelming at first; there was a lot of choice but everything was well cooked and the staff was generally nice. Unfortunately, here was one of the worst experiences I had at the hotel. I occasionally struggle with anxiety and one morning I was feeling it. I wanted to sit away from the main crowd at breakfast so made my way to the back of the restuarant. There was a table that was clear but yet to be set. I asked one of the staff (a young woman with dark hair and alt styling) to set the table. She seemed stressed and was abrasively dismissive saying that she had other tables to clear and that I should find somewhere else. This triggered an anxiety attack and the worst part was that to leave I would have had to walk to the length of dining room so in my panic I went into the bathroom. I was initially going to comply and find somewhere else to sit but I then realised that I had paid to be there, I had every right to be there and that, logically staff had to clear all tables, including the one that I preferred to sit at. It should not have been an issue to prioritise the table I requested and having been triggered, it was unlikely that I couldve have remained composed in the middle of a dining hall surrounded by strangers. I spoke with a manager asksing if they could sort a table. He wanted to me to be present when he spoke to the staff member directly. When I tried to explain to her, she was again dismissive and literally ignored me. Another unfavourable interaction I had was with the two young men at reception I believe their names were Dan and Julio/Enrike (I just know it was the name of someone famous). Their demeanors were an odd inbalance of professional arrogance. I called the hotel one evening after getting back late from Barcelona (a stressful trip due to change/cancellations in trains). Once I got to the train station there were no taxis so I called the hotel after waiting for over 30mins and things getting increasingly desolate I called the hotel again. It turns out they cancelled the taxi saying the person they spoke to said they were already on route to pick up a woman (someone else) from the station so they okayed the cancellation. On realising that I would miss dinner because of this, I asked if anything could be done. The young man said at the most I could order a pizza. When I arrived at the hotel, the restuarant was open so I decided to ask if I could take a place to my room as the restarant was closed. One of the young men marched past towards the restuarnt, overtaking me and as he passed he glanced at me then at his watch shaking his head. Such passive aggressiveness begged belief. As a lone, female, black traveller I am very aware of my surroundings. No one really questions a lone female traveller being vigilent on holiday. However, few people realise how race plays into that dynamic when it comes to things like being able to relax and adress issues without being seen as problematic, a threat, uneducated, rude etc. Generally, within this hotel they did a great job at providing a service where I felt like a valued customer but I would be remiss to not acknowledge the very few times I didn't feel seen or valued as a customer. Obviously, I have no idea what informed that treatment but staff ought to be aware that when serving people from all walks of life there are many nuances that can make or break their experience. The spa area was small and you had to book given it's size but it did what it needed to do. The lymphatic massage I had there was amazing couldn't recommend it enough. I made use of the gym a couple times and whlst small it had adequate equipment. The local area was beautiful and the local restuarants were great too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, families, singles included overall a great stay.
