A great base to travel around. Clean room, very spacious,3 rooms 2 bathrooms nice big balcony. Food was good plent of choice at both breakfast and tea. Salad wasnt the best we have had at previous hotels. As another guy sadi the only thing not on at breakfast is cavier and prosecco. Meat at tea time was always tender, fish was delicious. Nor sure I would want to stay in the middle of the summer as restaurant is small. Staff are very friendly Pool is FREEZING!! Will definitely return as didnt get to see what we wanted due to a huge storm and riots in Barcelona. Local buses run from the airport and costs 2 euros log onto BusPlana.com for bus times Taxi was 35 euros If you get time go to Port Aventura you will need a 2 day ticket as its 2 parks has the most amazing roller-coasters Reus is a lovely city

Have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel, Rooms: Pros-Very spacious, comfortable, relatively clean and well equipped Cons- needs a deep clean; Beds could be more comfortable Pool- Pros - more than enough sun beds, pool area was very clean, pool towels were provided for a €10 deposit and were cleaned and replaced as you wish. Cons- pool was freezing Food- Pros - great variety as long as you are not vegetarian, vegan or have allergies Cons- food was often cold, however they will heat it up for you if you ask. Food is majority seafood. Food is not labelled well at all. Drinks bought in the restaurant are not allowed to be taken out and you are charged a service charge for them also, which we found strange. There are also no windows or outside dining area, which was annoying as it’s nice to eat outside sometimes on holiday. Staff: Majority of them are very miserable and clearly don’t like English people. They were often very unhelpful. We arrived on our first day and our air conditioning wasn’t working, the lady at reception told us there was nothing she could do as the maintenance guy had gone home, fortunately one of the entertainment team members, Christiano overheard and came up to help, he fixed it with ease which allowed us to have a comfortable sleep, thank you Christiano! Entertainment- The most entertainment we had was a man with a keyboard on a Saturday night, other than that there is nothing on, even the lights are off. There is a kids club which is great though, however we have no kids so this was useless to us 😂 Location- the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach where there is some quiet shops. The main town is a 20 minute bus ride away, buses are very frequent and cost about €2.50 per person. Overall, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, however it was excellent value for money. They do try to charge you for everything. There are a lot of rules you have to live by and it can be difficult to not feel like you’re in jail, great for families and only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. There is lots of great trips and things to do in this area, theme parks , water parks , boat trips the lot. All at reasonable prices. Overall we had a lovely holiday.

“Awful food!!”

We recently stayed at the four elements for a family holiday. Our room was fantastic. 2 bedrooms, a living/kitchen area and 2 bathrooms. Our room was on the 3rd floor but was still easy accessible. We recently stayed at the four elements for a family holiday. Our room was fantastic. 2 bedrooms, a living/kitchen area and 2 bathrooms. Our room was on the 3rd floor but was still easy accessible. Rooms were cleaned every day and the whole hotel was very clean, because of this I would stay again! The pool area was small which I loved. Plenty of sunloungers but needed a little face lift. We found the reception staff to be quite rude however, the resturaunt staff, entertainment staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly. The hotel was an ideal location for us. Just situated within a 5 minute walk from the beach and La Pineda which is a beautiful little resort and only a 10 minute bus ride from the heart of Salou. There is a great little supermarket only round the corner with everything you need. Why only 3 stars? The food was awful!!! We are not fussy eaters and love trying local produce. Breakfast and lunches we were able to stomach as there was fresh bread and croissants. Dinners were not good at all. The hot food was cold and I mean cold. I think everything was just thrown into a dish ie tagliatelle pasta was served with a sweet and sour sauce. ( Italian meets Chinese? ) Meat was very fatty and inedible. Some of the seafood dishes were ok but not good quality. We ended up eating out on the evenings even though we had paid for Full board. I definitely would stay here again but only on a self catering basis
