Went for a week in May 2024 with Family. Room was a disappointment, two queen beds with no space anywhere else, bathroom was adequate and clean, towels changed daily which was helpful. TV only has Spanish channels, so that was of no use. No kettle in the room, but you could hire one for €20 for a week. They are €15 to buy in the town. Air con isn't switched on until June 15th. Fridge in rook to keep your drinks cold. We didn't have any food in the hotel so i cant comment on quality Bar is large and basic. one beer on tap, €3.40 a pint. all inclusive people pour their own, Whisky is about €5.50 but the measure size is good Gym, not great , bike was broken, limited machines Pool: freezing but its early May still. don't sit in the shade or you will freeze to death under the pine trees. sit in the sun its much more nicer little children's play area which the kids enjoyed Lifts, have a mind of their own kids club, my little one enjoyed it. Evening entertainment, starts off with mini disco and then Spanish entertainment, dancers , flamenco, waltzing and Spanish singers. Absolutely not inclusive for for other Europeans. Bingo one night and karaoke another. I hate karaoke but it was a relief from the Spanish entertainment. Staff, very nice staff. shout out to Jorge, lovely man. Poppy says hi. Other observations: the hotel seems to cater for Spanish retirement clubs tours. the hotel is full to the neck with older Spanish tourists. Very very surprisingly they are shockingly rude. They take up all the available space to watch the Spanish entertainment. "None" of then contribute to the hotel or buy a drink. never tip a barman, maybe buy a coffee. They have absolutely no concept of helping someone who is disabled. One incident they spread out chairs across a walk way and refused to let a disabled woman pass . they even pouted when they were reprimanded by the staff. Very surprised by their behaviour and attitudes.

Arrived rather early in the morning and was very pleased that our room was ready. Was informed that although we had requested a low floor was given a room on the 4th floor with a pool view (out of six floors) or we could have a room on the 2nd floor facing the roadworks outside. We obviously opted for the pool view. Unfortunately we had zero view as had 3 huge trees outside our balcony. Rooms are a good size and very clean. We had 2 x double beds in our room which is great for cheeky siestas. We found that our TV had no English channels. We did bring our firestick however there was nowhere to connect it. There is no kettle in the rooms, luckily we brought a travel kettle. There is a small fridge in the rooms which is helpful. Several days in to our stay we requested to change rooms as our neighbour was extremely loud all night and often around 7am playing music, shouting and smoking cannabis. We were informed by reception that there would be no other available rooms until the day before we were due to leave. The receptionist did say she would speak with our neighbours, i cannot confirm if she did but it did not stop the noise or the stench of cannabis in our room. We were half board so rarely ate at the hotel, when we did there were ample choices. We were shocked to see that 90% of guests were Spanish, the majority were very rude especially at meal times, they would barge past you, move you out of the way, it was the same with the lifts, there are 3 lifts altogether that did have a mind of their own. The Spanish Guests would make us feel very uncomfortable if you did manage to share a lift with them. Most of the time they would spread out so there was no room for us. There are major roadworks outside the hotel. This does not affect the hotel at all. All in all the rooms are a decent size, the cleaners and the reception staff are lovely however, we would not stay at this hotel again, if we did decide to ever return to Salou we would stay closer to the beach in an apartment.
