Straight to the good and bad points HONEST REVIEW BAD Air con is terrible had to keep opening door which resulted in a few bites , even with spray. DOOR CARDS are a disaster, kept having to get them re set as wouldn't open doors, you can go down and tell them your room and rhey would reset to that room no questions, bit of a security risk I would say, was told it happens alot die to card being near phones BORING hotel Everything closed at 7pm , bar is drab, outside is drab , no vibe when you arrive back at 7pm passed the reception is dark as lights are out. While hotels next to are vibing , lively and look fun with entertainment , ok if you just want a bed to sleep. TOP OF A HILL Although it's a great workout and we found we were able to manage it by the end of the hotel, it's a bit if a pain when you just wanna pop down to the busy area or bring bags or water up or for myself had an ankle op in Aug so still very uncomfortable. HOT TUB area not being utilised ,bar closed. Although there are hot tubs on roof, people were waiting around for them to hear up, there were no chairs or tables or sun beds out and the bar was closed so although nice views, pointless as you can't sit and chill . ROOM VIEW The hotel is surrounded by old, run down apartment's , so if you end up with a room, woth a not so great view ( which is most unless you upgrade for £35 extra per night ) You are left with looking at old apartments and a small pool area which was dead ( end of oct) ONE DUVET for booking of 3 It's end of Oct, should have been 3 duvets available just in case its needed , luckily we managed with one duvet shared between 2 and my son was ok without. HANGERS Not enough for the room which was a 4 person room , we were three and we could only hang up a few items each, rest was folded on side . SHOWER Floor gets soaked , glass doesn't cover enough of the water splash NOT SET UP for three people It's a 4 person room but bathroom only set up for 2 people on arrival . SIZE of room It says for 4 people room but would be cramped for 4 adults We had 3 and it was just about ok , we were expecting larger because of photos on website. PHOTOS are deceiving Looks more bigger , more fun in advert , I feel they have only showed the best room, biggest size and best views although rooms not bad and were clean ( bar some mould in shower and tiles) we were expecting alot more from the photos but feel we got the basics , be warned the photos make it look more bigger, better & fun then it is . SMELL Some areas of the hotel smell of drains , mainly the downstairs, just before entering eating area and also the toilets downstairs smell real bad of the drain smell so we avoided using them , it travelled up the stairs to the lifts. NO KETTLE OR CUPS TV - NO ENGLISH AT ALL, NOT A SMART TV as advertised. BREAKFAST TEA cup & plate size Not having a kettle in room , I was dying for tea in the morning, but the hot water was never boiling hot so by the time you put milk in its warm and the cups are very small so was hard to have a good cuppa, the breakfast plates were the size of a saucer so you couldn't eat properly without making a mess or reply enjoying it as a English breakfast as was just a very small plate, not even a plate, a saucer. GOOD CLEAN ROOMS 👌 cleaned , towels changed every day which was nice , the cleaners actually done some lovely things like tidying my autistic daughters pens and papers and this made her very happy. if you are just wanting an afforable room and nothing else this is a great choice, I compare it to staying in a Premier Inn 'room only'but less stars due to some of the above mentioned. BREAKFAST Great choice, was nice to wake up to a variety choices which was actually great . My teen and adult children loved it. BEDS Comfortable, clean 👌 Two double beds in room . RECEPTIONISTS Friendly, but i wouldn't come away thinking 'oh wow how lovely are they' just doing their jobs, basics and friendly, shuttle booking scan at reception which helped us on way back home. LOCATION Not far from the busy areas and beach 10 mins walk to busy area, 15/20 mins walk to beach, bust stop outside player hotel takes you to barcelona Airport, Tarragona and a few other places which is useful. CLEAN Overall nice and clean hotel , modern looking. Info Alot of the restaurants have the same food from the same company, same photos, same prices disguised as a different restaurant name. The Chinese buffet add 10% service charge but don't advertise this Night life is only weekend and only a few around , it's mainly a food area with arcades and touristy shops Quieter in most areas during 2-5pm due to siesta , so better to get up early and get out to make the most of the busy times Halloween is a great time to go, there were free street party along the beach strip and also in an old building at the end of the hotels road , bring your custom as alot of people dress up. Get a bus card from bus plana, these shops are all over the place and loads on the street , you can get the first card for 10eurs which gives you 10 trips on the bus, save yourself alot of money, will be double without . Have cash on you as some buses only take cash or this top up card. Would I stay at this hotel again NO Would I choose this area again? UNSURE Didn't live up to my expectations as I spend days searching for the best I could get within budget. i increased my budget alot more, to get better and honestly felt I spent too much for what I got, I also checked prices the morning I was travelling and it was reduced by £400 so I was disappointed with that.

Room cards are a disaster!!! Food was nice nothing wow.. You can hire an iron. Rooms are lovely. We loved the topfloor bar..Great cocktails. Hotel was very clean. Hotel is near to the beach. Taxi was €40 from airport.
