The hotel has a super location, and overall, the property is very spacious and large, yet cozy. The beach is easily accessible on foot and right in front of the hotel. I nice sand beach. There is a turtle enclosure between the corridor and the elevators in the main building, which gives the property a wonderful appearance. The pools are very large and more than adequate. There are plenty of loungers, so you don't have to compete for umbrellas and loungers by the pool. The double room with a side sea view, which I shared with my mother, was very nice and cozy. From the balcony, we had a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. There is much to discover and plenty of walking paths; just walking around the property quickly adds up your daily steps. There is also mini-golf directly on the property, which costs very little and is a lot of fun without having to leave the hotel. On the 5th floor, there is a super view of the sea, but even on the 4th floor, where the restaurant is located, you can sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy the beautiful view. We had meals on half board, with a huge buffet for breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious, and the dishes varied slightly depending on the day. For breakfast, there is Prosecco, which is already a higher standard in hotels, as well as fresh smoothies, crepes, etc. The hotel staff are all very friendly: very accommodating at the reception, the cleaning staff is very nice, the bar staff is very friendly and efficient, and you can also have a good lunch at the bar during the day, which is also quick. The waiters in the restaurant are all very nice and quick. The entertainer Wajdi is a super cheerful person who excites everyone with his motivating and friendly manner. We were more than happy to have our sports sessions, boules, stretching on the beach, water sports on the bikes in the water, and cocktail mixing classes with him. He always brings a positive atmosphere, which is really fun. Thanks for having such inspiring people. In the evenings, there is live music with various artists and musicians. You can also dance. Unfortunately, we found that the music starts at 9 p.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m. We would have liked to have more time. It would have been nice if there was another place where you could party and enjoy music for longer. Otherwise, all in all, we really enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend the hotel. Although it was nice on half board, if we were to travel there again (which we definitely plan to do at some point), I would opt for all-inclusive, as it is really worth it.

We went for a week to relax and we certainly were able to. The Hotel is nearly as perfect as it can be. We had read some mixed reviews but the real deal was nothing like others had said. The Hotel is in a perfect position , right next to the beach. A short five minute walk and you are on the beach. It's a lovely beach and yes like on most of the island there are some nudists but you don't have to join in. The Hotel itself is very clean , there are staff more or less cleanng all the time. All the staff are very nice , very helpful all the time. The cloice of food in the restaurant is also very good, we stayed half board and never had any issues with choices or lack of hot food of any type being readily available. There is evening entertainment if you want it, you can have peace and quiet if you want that. We hired a car so we were mobile in that sense, the Costa Calma busier area is about 15 minutes walk away. Overall we had a great time in a lovely hotel with very nice staff looking after us so many thanks for that.

My opinion - very deceptive use of advertising and photographs. When looking for a short break (5 nights) we checked out many hotels in Fuerteventura, and choose the H10 Esmeralda based on the room descriptions and photographs in their Privilege category service. We choose a Privilege Junior Suite - the most expensive category (excluding the Royal Suite). I will let you decide why we were bitterly disappointed on arrival. From their own written advertising .....Exclusive rooms in the first row to the beach........ photo 1 below - hotel map - our allocated Privilege suite position - very top left under the number 7 the last room on the corridor ending in a concrete cul de sac. The 2nd photo is taken from this room - sitting on a sunbed on the triangular balcony, the triangle ending with a view of a concrete wall. I immediately went back to reception asking if they had given us the wrong room. We were told this was one of their best rooms and couldn't understand why we were not happy! After several visits back and forward to reception and over 1 hour later it was obvious we were not going to get any help, and was told the hotel was full but maybe we could change rooms 2 days later!. As mentioned we were on a short break so 2 days lost, out of 5. We did eventually change rooms and photo 3 was the view from the new suite. THIS IS WHAT WE HAD PAID TOP PRICE FOR and did not need the stress of the previous 2 nights. I checked on their web site and the hotel offers - Junior suite - Junior suite Sea View and Junior suite privilege - all different prices. If you looked over the top of the concrete apartment block directly in front of our first balcony you could see the sea, but to me, this does not come under the description of ...... exclusive rooms in the first row to the beach..... I may be wrong but on speaking to other privilege guests - the advertising does not seem to match up to reality - and there were only a very few privilege junior suites that had both the front line views and the double balcony with sun loungers.... as shown on their web site photographs. I expect this hotel will have many disappointed guests. The hotel has many rows of differing accommodation and on walking round the hotel you could see that lots of rooms have virtually no view at all other than the next block of rooms. On checking out and on advice from other disgusted guests at the way we had been treated, we asked for a refund of the difference between the room categories, for our first 2 nights. The hotel Manager refused and insisted there was no difference in the standard of accommodation allocated, despite inadvertently saying, "but we moved you to a better room" how can they move us to a better room if both were the same standard. We will not be returning to this hotel...... I informed the Manager that I would be writing this review and also to their head office. In general the staff were helpful and friendly and once we had been allocated a 'genuine Privilege Junior Suite as advertised' we enjoyed the rest of our short stay. This review is in protest of being dumped at the very back of the hotel despite paying for the highest level of accommodation. Future guests please decide carefully, .......we believed we had.
