These apartments are clean and tidy, whitewashed pueblo-style, two-storey. I stayed for 28 days in Room Six, a compact studio apartment up some fairly steep steps. The rooms are a bit dated, though this didn't bother me at all. There's a modern telly, small hob, microwave oven; bring a dish brush or cloth (I bought a cheap one from the local Chinese bargain store in the village). There's no toaster, so I used the frying-pan instead for "toasting." There's a good little Hiperdino supermarket about five minutes' walk away, which has almost everything you'd need. My bathroom had no basin plug, though I have one of those all-purpose travel plugs which works a treat. There's usually abundant hot water; sometimes it becomes a mere trickle with no pressure, though this doesn't last for long. The chambermaid service is good, about every other day. Because my room was a studio, my bed was not far from the noisy fridge. Apart from that I was quite content being there for a month. NB: my room had no wifi reception, so I went frequently to Reception (or on a bench outside) to watch BBC & ITV. Fortunately I have 4G capability, so I used that mainly for emails, texts, etc in my room. There are two lovely cats here, one white and the other some other breed. They endear themselves to guests. Top tip: my favourite restaurant was La Ballena, though there's a good selection of places to eat to suit all pockets and most tastes. Azzurro is good, too. Rating: between 3 and 4.

“Basic, dated but great value and location.”

Apartments are very basic, dated (lots of worn pine) and in need a of a refurb, fixtures and fittings a bit worn and chipped,bath tiles mildewy etc...... Choose an upstairs apartment as no noise from above. You can hear people anyway due to the acoustics of the development. We stayed in the Morromar apartments in Lanzarote and they were the same, must be made of same bricks!!!!! This is our last night of 4 and we have survived! INTERNET IS FREE AND STABLE!!!!!!! If you don't expect the Ritz hen you'll be ok 👍👍👍👍

Cotillo Lagos is a nice spot for vacation, the see is a few meters away from the structure and the beach is very clean and charming. Unfortunately in the studios there are only single beds. Cotillo Lagos is a nice spot for vacation, the see is a few meters away from the structure and the beach is very clean and charming. Unfortunately in the studios there are only single beds. We did not appreciate the lack of help regarding our need to have more sheets on our beds. Wi-Fi is extremely slow, therefore do not bring your laptop with you. The sera is safe, there is always a parking spot and great restaurants as “Pizzeria Marameo” and “La Vaca Azul” are 5 minutes away by foot. Supermarket is also very close, as well as “smoothie bar” to get your breakfast snd “shock wave” to get your surf and windsurf classes. We might come back if the price would slightly decrease.

The simple apartment was very comfortable but fairly cold at this time of the year (January/February) and no heaters available. In absence of a heater, a duvet would have been nice, considering that while the place is not overly expensive, it is not cheap either. While everything in the apartment is a bit dated, the layout of the rooms is good and everything functions well, besides the wifi which didn´t or was very weak. Simple cooking in the apartment no problem, The location we had was at the seafront which was great, only that there were always large numbers of people hanging out all day right in front of our apartment, creating a certain amount of noise. The staff was great and very helpful. You can get a shuttle bus to / from the airport.
