On arrival met by welcoming staff, with a glass of bubbly to refresh us whist waiting to book in. Stayed in a junior suite, well laid out with private terrace, including loungers and sunshade. Suites well positioned so that no 2 suites overlooked each other, directly. Superb swimming pool, bar and restaurant, also gym and spa facilities that we didn't use. Nightly, quality entertainment which was always enjoyable, occasionally some musical accompaniment to breakfast. Situated about 1 mile inland from the centre of Maspalomas a shuttle bus was laid on, but it was a distance easily walkable. A taxi was preferable to use in the evenings if wanting to dine away from the hotel. Our first time on Gran Canaria, thoroughly enjoyed.

We recently had our second stay in Club Maspalomas and what a pleasure it was. Previously we stayed 6 nights this time 9 nights. This is an adult only complex. If you want to get away, relax, sleep, eat well and enjoy the peace this is the place for you. We love the accommodation, ours was a Junior suite. You don’t have to go looking for sun loungers in the morning, as there are 2 right outside the door of your suite. Alternatively you can get a lounger at the poolside. There were always sun loungers available. The large jacuzzi with water jets is another lovely pastime. You can enjoy the time overlooking the complex from here. We also used the steam room. I used the spa, I had 2 treatments which were lovely and relaxing. The prices are very reasonable and also have a 15% discounts for clients of the hotel. On our arrival we were offered prosecco and were checked in very quickly. We booked half board, we love the food, we had breakfast and dinner. Sometimes we swapped the dinner for lunch which was very handy if you wanted to plan to go somewhere else on the island in the evening time. When we arrived to our room, there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us with a sign “welcome back” which was a lovely gesture. During our stay, it was my birthday, and we got another surprise on our return during the day, another bottle with the sign “happy birthday”. This was another lovely gesture. My husband was very happy with quality of the internet. Once he connected, he was able to download movies from Netflix. He checked with Reception in advance to make sure that hotel’s wifi covered this and he was told yes. Another big plus for a man who likes to spend time resting and looking at movies. We really enjoyed our food, in fact we probable overate. There is such a large selection of foods, we can’t think of anything else you could want. We loved the salads. There were many complimentary items during our stay which included ice cream cones one day by the pool, and smoothies 2 of the morning during our stay. There is a free drinking water station and an ice cube station. The water served with your meals is also free. The staff work extremely hard from reception, cleaners, bar, food/kitchen staff and maintenance staff. The place is so clean. The staff are extremely friendly and appear to understand many languages. We enjoyed the entrainment and on one of the nights, the band introduced the owner of the hotel and all the staff that were on duty that night which amounted to over 20 staff. What a professional set up. We also had entertainment some mornings which was enjoyable while having your breakfast, I also attended the yoga and aqua aerobics classes. A nice treat to be able to do this in the sunshine. The hotel also provides a courtesy bus to the beach. You could also walk which would take about 20 minutes. The taxi from the airport cost about 45 euros, however as we got to know the area a bit more and had used the bus service before, we took the bus back to the airport. The stop was right outside the hotel and runs every hours. Takes about 45 minutes to get to the airport and the cost for 2 adults is €8.10. No charge for kids.

From start to finish I cannot fault this place . We arrived to friendly smiling helpful reception staff who had great English and very helpful. Our bungalow style apartment was very clean and enough space for the two of us to. I love the layout of the place . Entertainment at night was always good singers. (Grateful for no magic acts) If you want time together with no children to completely relax and chill out this is definitely the best place. Easy to grab a bus anywhere for a few euro and also a taxi . Good choice of restaurants around . Will be returning soon

Had a great honeymoon at Club Maspalomas. Attention to detail from the owner and the personnel made the experience lovely. Both heated pools are just great, sun loungers comfy, saunas small but practical - really all you need to truly relax. We went for the standard room, it was compact but had everything we needed. Our nights were on the hotter side due to AC settings environmental policy of the hotel, but manageable; nobody else seemed to have complained about it so maybe it was just a glitch of our particular AC. The shower pressure was nice. The room was cleaned regularly and the cleaning personnel was always very nice and friendly. The food was very good, always extremely fresh, and variety impressive. Big compliments to the chefs and the kitchen staff! You’re appreciated! The paella and sangria workshop was a lot of fun with plenty of sangria going around, you’ve elevated our paella standards! Also all waiting staff was so welcoming and friendly, but a particularly big shoutout goes to Francesca and Ezequiel who made dining and bar time special, full of laughter and good vibes. Entertainment was wonderful, we didn’t really expect anything but every breakfast and dinner there were excellent musicians and bands. On our last night the Duke’s Band asked personnel working that night and the owner to come out and we all celebrated their hard work - this was beautiful and touching. Another entertainer to call out is Otto - the hotel cat who came by every morning to sunbathe and bathe next to our bungalow. Everyone adores him so did we. Lastly, I would like to say big thank you to Jesse the yoga teacher for her wonderful practice that was simply excellent to attend every other morning. Sara the aqua gym instructor is a true energiser for the muscles and the mood - thank you too!
