We stayed for 6 nights in the hotel and the stay was excellent! Pro’s - it’s a very beautiful and luxurious hotel in and outside - Housekeeping is coming each night to check if you need anything, they even make up your bed more than one time per day - Housekeeping is seeing also the small details such as slippers that are broken - The hotel has a super easy app where you find all the info you need and that you can use to book restaurants/services - Full staff is super super friendly, their english is not always the best but they really try to give you a wonderful experience and make you feel special - Nice quality food and drinks and good variety in things - Heated pools - Nice activities - Difference options where you can lay at the swimming pool, if you prefer a more quiet spot you can lay in the garden as well, extra adults only area Con’s - we met several cockroaches at the swimming pool. I’m afraid this is typical to Gran Canaria but is not a super good experience since there are also restaurants around. Where we come from it’s pest - Room was not super clean when we arrived (hair in the shower, sand from other people on the ground) - Rooms are quiet noisy, and since the hotel is all-in, unfortunately some people also need to drink all-in and be drunk at night. We had the police standing at our door for 2 hours discussing with another guest so we didn’t have a good night rest

“Very relaxing break”

Lovely hotel, very good food and most importantly friendly staff. We had a very relaxing week in the sun. Nice selection of places to eat and although we stayed in the adults only area, there seemed to be lots of fun for families too. Recommend

It's about how a hotel deals with the BAD situations that define them. A disclosure - I didn't stay here but my parents had planned to stay here for a week and were looking forward to the trip. But it wasn't to be. On arrival to the hotel my father was already feeling unwell and within a couple of hours, as they sat down for dinner, he was having a stoke. (He looks to be making a good recovery!) But at that moment timing matters. And the Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria really delivered. The staff mobilised to really help my mother. They called the emergency services immediately and gave her all the support she needed. One of the team went up to the hotel room with her to help her get her belongings and telling her the things that she might need. Another took pictures of the important documents and whatsapped them to me. Another, while she was upstairs, was getting a taxi to allow her to follow quickly. It's because of their speed that I think that my dad will make a very signifiant recovery from a very major stroke. Without the speed of thought, we wouldn't have been in time for the intervention - and it could have been fatal. I wasn't there, but my mum recounts how amazing the team were. She said it was like having an extended family around helping her - and I'll be forever thankful for the hotel and the team. All the team was really helpful - but my mum remembers Jorge who printed out all the info she needed, gave her lots of advice - and provided the urgency and calm at a very difficult time. Ultimately my mother transferred to a hotel closer to the hospital, but if any of us ever come back - it's the Paradiso that we will stay at - they deserve the business. Amazing trained - but amazing people - and it's that sort of comfort that you need when you are going abroad on holiday

“Great family hotel and excelent place to relax”

Very clean and relaxing hotel. Best food we have had in an all inclusive hotel. The design,kindness of staff, the welcoming ambience starting with the great scent in the air when entering the hogel Lobby..all in all a great experienc and very mich recommended from couples and families
