We had a lovely stay at this hotel and found it to be well worth the money. The room was clean and well equipped and if we needed anything the staff were very happy to help. We paid a little extra on arrival to have a lounge area opened up and this worked out cheaper than paying for a superior room on booking. There are really good blackout curtains and the air con worked well. There were some electrical ports that were not working in our rooms but we managed and I’m sure if we’d have mentioned it to staff it could have been fixed. The pool was busy at times but there were never too many people. You aren’t allowed floaties in the pool so don’t bring any. There were activities in the pool each morning which were fun to join in with. The hotel also put on other activities for adults (such as archery) and had a kids club but we didn’t experience these. Food wise, the restaurant was good. We never had to queue but there were some busier times for dinner (around 8.15). There was always a good selection of food and we had no complaints about it. There is also a snack kitchen near to the pool that does burgers, hot dogs, pizza, toasties, fruit, ice cream and also cakes and biscuits after 4pm. Drinks were great- the all inclusive alcohol actually tasted nice and there was lots on offer. Lots of the drink is self serve and we never had to queue for it. There is a beach club attached to the hotel and buses run regularly through the day. You do have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas if you want them but there is a bar serving drinks, sandwiches and salads and fruit cups and ice cream (all part of the all inclusive). The beach was clean and the water was lovely. We visited the nearby town of Puerto Mógan which was really beautiful and worth visiting. Again the hotel runs a bus service but only once a day- leave at 9 and return at 12. If you want to visit outside these times there are taxis but it is quite expensive as, although the town is so near you can see it from the hotel, the main road is closed. The town is beautiful and the water is so clear you see loads of fish and crabs and we even saw sting rays. We didn’t go to any of the evening entertainment at the hotel but used the sunset bar terrace every evening and this was nice and relaxed. It was occasionally slightly noisy at night but never past 1am. The staff were super helpful and our room was cleaned beautifully every day; the housekeeping staff are amazing. On the day of our checkout there was a shower room to use which was a hotel room rather than a shower block and so it felt very clean and comfortable and we had it for half an hour. Would recommend for families who don’t want to leave the hotel much.

“Overall good but accessible water needs to be made a priority”

Overall the holiday was great, the service, food and location was amazing. They have an adults only pool and there’s no mad rush to get a sun lounger. The only issue we had which wouldn’t make us return, was the no bottled water in the hotel rooms. Our room was quite far from any water stations and the only way to get water outside of restaurants times/pool was to use the vending machine and pay for it. Which given how hot it was and not being able to drink the tap water, was quite disappointing and worrisome given the heat.

Reception staff are extremely nice and very helpful. The Restaurant is brilliant, being greeted at the door and shown to your table is a nice touch. There are plenty of food choices, and in the main it is delicious and presented very well. Also the staff are very friendly. The shuttle bus to the water park and to Mogan Town is very handy, just check on the return times so that you don’t miss it ( like we did once : ) ) The rooms are clean and serviced daily, the pool is a decent size, although you are only allowed very small floats, and no balls. This caught quite a few people out. Also the tiles can be very slippy although there are plenty of warning signs out People could say the Hotel needs renovating but it looked to me that is exactly what is happening. All in all we had a very lovely stay here and would highly recommend.

“Customer satisfaction”

Soloman and Christian were amazing- really nice and helpful. Not being allowed to play with a ball or anything in the pool was annoying though.
