I stayed here for 10nights with my husband & we had an amazing time. The staff were very friendly,our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels were also left. The food choice was fantastic and to a very high standard,definitely something for everyone. The pools were 10/10. It was a 25 minute transfer from airport .It’s a 5 minute walk to beach which absolutely lovely. Plenty of shops and bars/restaurants. The night time entertainment wasn’t for me and my husband so we went out on a night to the bars which were a 5/10minute walk too. Absolutely loved mulligans Irish bar they had live entertainment each night and bar staff are really friendly.highly recommend this holiday and can’t wait to return to this hotel 👌

“August family holiday”

Reception staff First class sevice. Entertainment team work hard day and night. Godd to see children at mini disco enjoying the music and dance. 24 hour food and drink a plus. Late room was 10 Euros per hour. With minor adjustments would be 4 star.

Great all-inclusive hotel with a fantastic entertainment team We had a really enjoyable stay at Abora Continental and would happily recommend it. The hotel was always very clean and well looked after. The housekeeping team were respectful and did a great job of cleaning our room throughout the stay. The meals were what you would generally expect from an all-inclusive hotel, but there was always plenty of variety and we never felt short of choice. We also really liked that food was available throughout the day, which made everything feel very relaxed and convenient. A particular highlight was the animation team. They were fantastic, full of energy, friendly and always around to get people involved and keep the atmosphere going during both the day and evening. A special mention has to go to Hari (I think that was his name!), who was absolutely brilliant, particularly during the pool aerobics sessions. He brought so much energy and made them great fun. The evening entertainment was also really enjoyable. My only tip would be to get down a little earlier if you want a good seat, as the chairs fill up very quickly. Sunbeds could also be quite difficult to find once you got past the morning, and we didn't manage to get one at all during our week. That said, I have to give the hotel a lot of credit for how they deal with people reserving beds and then disappearing. We regularly saw staff putting warning tickets on unattended reserved sunbeds and, if nobody returned, removing the towels so that other guests could actually use them. It was great to see the hotel actively tackling the usual "sunbed reserving" problem rather than simply ignoring it. I didn't personally use the spa, but others in our group did and spoke very highly of it and really enjoyed their time there. We upgraded from the standard all-inclusive package to Premium All Inclusive and, for us, it was definitely worth the extra cost. It gave us a better selection and made the stay feel that little bit more special. Overall, a clean, friendly and lively hotel with good food, plenty going on and an absolutely brilliant entertainment team. We had a great holiday and would definitely consider staying again.

Let me start by saying I would give this hotel 4.5 if that was possible! Lots of positives - hotel itself is really lovely and clean. Pool area is a good size with a covered over area for having a snack or drink. There is one big pool and a smaller one and a kids pool. There are quite a lot of sunbeds but typical of most hotels these days if you want a good position by the pool you need to be down with your towels by 8:30am at the latest. There is an attendant who walks round and if sunbeds are empty up till about 10 he puts a card on and if after 20 mins they are still empty he removes the towels altogether. Lots of fun to watch! The food is really lovely one of the nicer all inclusive we have been to with a great selection both in the restaurant and in the snack area. The entertainment during the day is excellent with lots of activities - we didn’t stay in the evenings so can’t comment on that. Hotel is in a good location with the beach a 5 minute walk, and 15-20 min walk into town with lots of shops and restaurant or €7 in a taxi. Couple of areas of improvement for me: We had a family room (3a, 1c) but in reality this is a standard room with 2 extra beds resulting in the room feeling tiny - I normally like to sit on the balcony of an evening before going out to have a drink but this wasn’t possible as only 2 chairs and we had to store all our suitcases out there. If I was returning I would book 2 rooms. You are not allowed any floats, balls etc in the pool and the lifeguard is hot on this but also hot on stopping what seems like any type of fun - whistle is blown A LOT during the day! I do get why no floats as it can take up a lot of room but would be good to allocate a couple of hours a day where floats are allowed. Although majority of people are AI there is a lot of drinks you have to pay for inc premium and cocktails - there are AI cocktails but these were pre-made and not great - very reasonable prices to pay for cocktails though so we did that! Overall I would 100% come back here!
