**Great food and location, friendly staff, but poor all-inclusive bar drinks** The hotel is in a very good location, in a lively area with plenty to do. It’s about a pleasant 10-minute walk to a beautiful beach, and only a little further to the amazing sand dunes. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. The hotel has a limited number of paid parking spaces, but even during peak season we always managed to find a free spot on the street nearby. The food at the hotel is excellent. There is a huge variety, the quality is very good, and everything we tried was genuinely tasty. The all-inclusive drinks served with meals are also perfectly fine – wine, sangria, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea are all of good quality. Unfortunately, the all-inclusive drinks at the bars are a completely different story. They are very poor – not tasty, badly presented and clearly made with the lowest-quality ingredients. This was probably the biggest disappointment of our stay. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the hotel, which definitely adds to the overall experience. The evening entertainment was also a pleasant surprise. Considering that this is a relatively small hotel, the entertainment programme was of a surprisingly good quality and made the evenings more enjoyable. The rooms are not the newest, but they are clean and comfortable. When something stopped working in our room, maintenance came quickly and fixed it without any problems. Overall, considering the price, I would recommend this hotel. The excellent food, friendly staff, good location and proximity to the beach and dunes definitely make up for some of its shortcomings.

Location is good - plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and the beach within walking distances. Rooms are clean and a decent size, kettle in room but no tea or coffee etc, although we just used the canteen. The hotel is very clean, cleaners constantly cleaning and maintaining the grounds. Food was average, typical all inclusive really. We’ve had better but had worse. The only downside is the sunbed issue. We went down one morning at 7am and all beds were taken around the pool, the next morning I went down at 630am and the same. You have subbed away from the pool but you can’t see children in the pool if you have any. Staff always friendly and helpful. Chilled atmosphere around the hotel and not too noisy.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for a 10 day all inclusive with TUI. Overall Summary This hotel has some clear strengths, particularly its excellent location, spacious rooms, exceptional cleanliness, and hardworking staff. However, several factors, including poor soundproofing, repetitive food, limited facilities for a 4-star all-inclusive resort, and the highly competitive sunbed situation, detracted from the overall experience and reduced the value for money. Location The location is excellent, with easy access to shops, the beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, making it a convenient base for exploring the local area. Atmosphere The atmosphere is pleasant and very family-friendly. The evening entertainment was adequate but lacked the variety and engagement I have experienced at other resorts. One of the biggest drawbacks was the extreme "sunbed race" each morning. Guests were reserving sunbeds very early, and if you want a bed near the pool, or even one with a parasol, you may find yourself setting an alarm for 5:30am. Unfortunately, it became a case of joining in rather than missing out. The staff were all excellent and focussed on their tasks and very efficient, but this often detracted from any engagement with guests. Rooms The rooms are a real highlight. They are spacious, with comfortable beds, excellent storage space, and well-appointed bathrooms. However, the soundproofing is poor, and noise from neighbouring rooms and people walking in corridors, even barefoot, can be clearly heard, which impacts both relaxation and sleep quality. Value for Money For a hotel marketed as a 4-star all-inclusive resort, the value for money was disappointing. There is no gym, spa, or similar wellness facilities, which feels like a missed opportunity. The food was average and became very repetitive, with little variation from day to day. The themed evenings offered limited differentiation and were generally underwhelming. By the middle of our 10-day stay, dining in the restaurant had become more of a necessity than something to look forward to. Another issue was the large number of flies in the restaurant, particularly around the cold food stations. This was quite off-putting, and there appeared to be few measures in place to minimise the problem, such as food covers or fly deterrent systems. The pool itself is excellent but becomes extremely busy around lunchtime. On a positive note, the daytime entertainment team are fantastic, energetic, and work incredibly hard. The aquagym sessions were particularly enjoyable and a standout part of the holiday. Cleanliness The hotel is immaculately maintained, and the housekeeping and grounds teams deserve significant credit for the high standards throughout the resort. The only downside is that cleaning activity starts early, and from around 7am there can be considerable noise from furniture being moved and preparation work taking place, which may disturb lighter sleepers. Overall, I am sad to say I would not recommend this hotel as a great 4* all inclusive but can see how it would work perfectly as a short stay central location to experience a lot of fantastic experiences in Gran Canaria.

We stayed here as a family of four with children aged 11 and 8. The biggest positive is definitely the location. It’s within easy walking distance of the beach, shops and bars, so it’s a great base if you like to get out and explore. The hotel and grounds were generally clean, and the rooms were cleaned every day. However, housekeeping was a little inconsistent. We arrived around 1am after flight delays and motorway traffic, only to have the cleaner knocking at 8:30am the next morning, so definitely use the Do Not Disturb sign if you want a lie-in! The room seemed to be cleaned more thoroughly during the first half of the week than the second. We found someone else’s flip-flops under the bed when looking for the kids ball, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned underneath. On our final morning, the smell from the bathroom drains was awful - so bad we shut the bathroom door and avoided going back in. Our room itself was spacious enough for the four of us, with a good-sized balcony overlooking the pool, and the air conditioning was excellent and very much needed. There aren’t many plug sockets, so take adapters, and the sockets in our room were quite stiff. We also had the electrics trip twice during our stay, although reception arranged for this to be fixed quickly. Check-in was straightforward despite arriving around midnight. As we’d missed dinner, we were told there was a cold meal available in the restaurant, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the food had clearly been sitting out for hours, the restaurant was very warm, and there were flies all over the salad bar, so we decided not to eat it and went to a nearby restaurant instead for chips. The food throughout the week was what you’d expect from a standard all-inclusive. The fresh pizzas were lovely, and my partner and the kids really enjoyed the burgers and toasties from the snack bar. The waiting staff worked hard and were always quick to clear plates. Sadly, the biggest issue was the flies. There were so many of them, especially around the fresh bread and salad bar. We’ve stayed in several all-inclusive hotels and have never experienced anything like it. The lack of air conditioning in the restaurant didn’t help either. The pool was a good size and was cleaned every evening, but the shallow area was small, meaning our 8 and 11-year-olds could only stand in a limited section. The biggest negative of the whole holiday was the sunbed situation. On our first morning we went down around 8am and there wasn’t a single sunbed available. The following day my partner went down just after 7am and managed to get beds but no parasol. After that we had no choice but to set alarms and take turns going down between 5:30am and 6am every morning. Even then, all the beds around the pool had already gone, leaving us further back, which wasn’t ideal with two children. We really hated having to do this, but otherwise we’d have had nowhere to sit. We didn’t really get to experience the evening entertainment because by the time we’d finished dinner there were never any seats left in the entertainment area. We weren’t eating particularly late either. Lots of people ended up sitting on sunbeds further away because there simply wasn’t enough seating. Overall, we had a lovely family holiday. We made the most of it. We got a good price so perhaps got what we paid for (£2800 all inclusive for 7 nights). In our opinion this hotel doesn’t feel like a 4-star property and is closer to a 2/3-star experience. While we’d definitely return to the area, we probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again because of the issues mentioned above.
