“Lovely stay in mid October with my son.”

Visited for one week with my 13 year old son, we both found La Kiki to be perfect for all the things we wanted to do in the area. Having been to Ibiza numerous times, spanning from the mid 90s, and staying in the bay area of San Antonio for most of my trips, I knew what facilities were on offer locally. La Kiki is situated on the main bay road, directly across the road from the beach and roughly a 15 -20 minute saunter into San Antonio town, along a nice flat walkway. We were on the first floor on the right hand side of the hotel (room 107) and had very good views of the bay. The apartment was really well equipped with a kitchenette, that allowed cooking on a two ring electric hob and a microwave, along with an ample food preparation area and sink. The fridge was easily large enough for our needs, held loads of beer! and food. The bathroom was nice and spacious with a really good shower as well as the usual WC & WHB. The general decor in the room was quirky, we had cormorant wall paper, which I thought was fantastic!! Again, the sleeping/living area was spacious as was the balcony. Beds were nice and comfy and there was the usual furniture you would expect to find. The room was cleaned daily and towels and bed linen replenished too, the ladies who attended to the room were really thorough and friendly. Breakfast was served from 08:00 to 11:00, adequate time for most to fill up for the day. Food was good and there was more than enough choice of hot and cold food in my opinion. No other food was available but that was ok as there are lots of very good eateries close by. The bar area was really nice, with a raised outdoor seating area with plenty of tables, selection of drinks was really good, as you would expect in this part of the world. Worth noting that a pint of Estrella was only 3 euros! The pool area, again, this was really good with sufficient sun loungers, south facing which meant it was in the sun until around 16:00 in mid-October. The only gripe I had was on the first day, there was a loud male who was part of a small group (the rest of the group were as quiet as mice!), I had to ask him not to smoke, which I shouldn't have had to do. I was waiting for the pool attendant, who was sat in the shade adjacent to the pool, to say something as there were several clearly visible no smoking signs in the area, but he didn't say anything. The situation didn't amount to anything and the chap concerned put his fag out. The staff at the hotel were really pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, a special mention to Jose, Gary and the young lady on reception, all are a credit to the company and thanks for helping to make our holiday special. Overall, a brilliant, quiet and well located base with all the amenities you need, for everything the island has to offer and I definitely intend to come back to La Kiki next year..

“Perfect for us”

On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
