Beautiful hotel with large comfortable rooms and daily cleaning. Perfect spot with plenty of sea views from the pool, many bars and large restaurant. Entertainment provided every evening with both bars serving premium drinks in the All Inclusive option including brands like Malibu, Aperol and bottled soft drinks including Coca Cola and Fanta. Entertainment bar was table service too and the Cocktails all handmade and not ready pour stuff. Lovely 5 minute walk to the small town with a few cafe bars and shops and would recommend talking the 500 Bus line to Santa Cruz which took 12 minutes. A great town with some lovely sights, beautiful buildings and if you need one…a McDs! The only reason I’ve marked the hotel a 4 rather than 5 was the food. Not masses of choice and mainly catering for Spanish guests and sadly it was always cold. We tried accessing as soon as they opened some days and the food was generally still only just warm which is such a shame as the staff are brilliant and the restaurant sparkling clean. It was also very hectic especially at breakfast time, we are used to All Inclusive buffets and understand these can be a free for all but this was another level, it felt quite stressful at times. BUT we would go again! The pools are beautiful, plenty of sunbeds, towels provided and lifeguard on every day. Pool bar staff were so quick and queues when any, went very quickly. I would say, don’t let the food comments put you off as it was height of season so I am sure this differs and the food in the local bars was lovely so you do have other options if you need a change of scenery. All in all, a great hotel and a lovely stay.

“Not suitable for larger families with teens”

This is a lovely hotel with great pools and beautiful views. However it is not suitable for larger families. They consider any child age 12 or over as an adult. The accommodation only permits 2 adults per room maximum so this created lots of problems with our children aged 13 and 12. The hotel man… more

This is a lovely hotel with great pools and beautiful views. However it is not suitable for larger families. They consider any child age 12 or over as an adult. The accommodation only permits 2 adults per room maximum so this created lots of problems with our children aged 13 and 12. The hotel manager was not helpful and refused to help, just shouting at us and told us to find alternative accommodation or pay for an extra room. The hotel knew the ages of our children in advance. The food was nice and the hotel is clean.

We recently stayed at the H10 Taburiente Playa in La Palma for a week while visiting family on the island. We booked a Privilege room on an all‑inclusive basis. Although our room (2244) had a beautiful sea view and was a good size, it didn’t quite live up to the “Privilege” standard. The hotel is older and the room showed noticeable signs of wear and tear. There were positives: the location is excellent for both the airport and the capital, staff were consistently welcoming and helpful, and the pools were great with no rush for sun loungers. The separate Privilege dining area was a nice touch and made mealtimes feel calmer. Drink measures were generous, the wine at dinner was very good, and premium spirits were available. However, several issues let the stay down. The air‑conditioning was limited and the temperature controls didn’t seem to work. Our room door latch repeatedly stuck, even after being fixed. Housekeeping was inconsistent — on one day our room wasn’t cleaned despite being out from 9:30 to 18:00, and Privilege perks like water and coffee were only replenished when requested. The floor cleaning product left a slippery, oily residue that felt unsafe. Wi‑Fi dropped frequently, though the hotel did advise it was being upgraded. Despite the hotel’s no‑smoking policy, cigarette butts were visible around the paths and some guests smoked on balconies. Overall, I would rate this hotel as a 3‑star property. It has potential and some genuinely good features, but it needs investment and updating to reach a higher standard. Would I return? Possibly — but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

There were many great points about the hotel and a few that were definitive for a lower review. Starting with the positive points: The location of the hotel is great, near the airport and many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were mostly very warm and welcoming, always with a smile on their faces, especially the bar/restaurant staff. Antonio, Dany, Yanira, Jose, were some of the nicest people in the hotel. They made a difference in the whole experience. The food was quite good too, with lots of options for all tastes. Going early for each meal helped get the fresher food and more items available. The room view and size were great. Seaview with lovely sunrises to watch. Checkin and checkout were easy, they even gave us a map to help us find the way in the hotel. The sizes of the pools were great and the amount of sun beds was good for the amount of guests in the hotel. The issues: The main one is cleaning. That was the main problem for our group. Basically all dishes, glasses were either still dirty or greasy. Lipstick stains, leftover food. A much lower level than expected for a hotel of this size and a 4 stars. The room had bugs killed all over the walls, also walls have not been properly cleaned with dirty spots especially in the bathroom. The AC sometimes didn't work well enough, making some noise all night long and not cooling enough. The communication with the staff wasn't ideal either. Before the trip, I had sent an email telling that this trip would be our first wedding anniversary and they replied saying they would get us a little celebration and a better room. It didn't happen once we checked in. Then our friends wanted to send us a bottle of champagne with snacks, to which the hotel confirmed, and also we never received it. I had asked reception to confirm with housekeeping to clean our room at 1pm everyday, and they would still come at random times. In general, I would go back to the hotel, but they must do something about the cleaning of the hotel. It is much below than any other hotel of the same category.
