Overall - we had a great time here. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and attentive when checking in/ordering taxis etc. The rooms are modern and spacious with a smart TV so you can access Netflix etc. The housekeeping staff were also really friendly and the room was cleaned whenever we needed, even when we left the room a bit later at lunchtime. The bar and wait staff are incredibly friendly too. We found that they are however slightly understaffed at lunch and dinner time as the restaurant does not offer self service for any drinks which can be time consuming waiting to be served a drink. One of the few negatives we found was the two female middle aged managers who on more than one occasion, when we stepped out of the elevator to enter the restaurant, quite literally looked us up and down with a disgusted look on their faces while actively ignoring us when we said hello. I couldn't get their name tags but they had absolutely no warmth or friendliness whatsoever. To ignore guests who greet you politely is unacceptable. Overall though, a great stay minus those two particular managers

We arrived very late to the hotel due to our flight being delayed but the hotel had left some sandwiches in our rooms Night Reception staff were very helpful , room nice and clean hotel and surroundings were also spotless We were all inclusive food was lovely always something for all tastes The only downside was having to fill the water bottles up only one bottle in the room as a family we are all tea total so mostly soft drinks and tea and coffee Housekeeping staff could be quite rude snd some of the bar staff one person in particular was at the pool bar There are many rules to adhere to at this hotel especially around the pool no balls /floaties early risers reserving sun lounges towels were removed and notices were placed on the bed The location was perfect bus stop only a couple of minutes walk beach front location close to shops and restaurants Weather extremely windy most days and overcast sun late riser

“Not 4 star”

Nice hotel but in my opinion it’s not a 4 star hotel they still have markers on the floor from Covid at least 4 years old so that tells you they are not on top of their maintenance I shared a room with a member of my family who is a teenager we have done this before quite successfully but on this… more

Nice hotel but in my opinion it’s not a 4 star hotel they still have markers on the floor from Covid at least 4 years old so that tells you they are not on top of their maintenance I shared a room with a member of my family who is a teenager we have done this before quite successfully but on this occasion my bed was a child’s bed very narrow and short but I didn’t report this my bad Food was quite nice and a good selection we were half board evening menu was nice again a good selection Pool are was a bit tatty and the sun loungers were old fashioned metal and with no cushions so very uncomfortable They did have some day beds but they were reserved for people on all inclusive plus but on at least 4 days no one was using them whilst we were scrambling round trying to find 4 loungers we would have happily paid a few euros to be able to use them but we were not allowed we are NOT the type of people who reserve a lounger at at stupid o’clock then don’t actually use them until the afternoon Overall ok hotel ok location some nice staff but would not recommend/return here

Rooms were nice, shower pressure poor. Did report this but nothing done. Breakfast ok. Lunch and dinner not much choice. We ate in hotel in evening twice. Other than that we ate out. Go after 8 pm otherwise you have to queue and staff can’t keep up. You have to be up at 6.30 am to get a subbed, ho… more

Lovely atmosphere, but I would NOT recommend this hotel for anyone with coeliac disease We had a really enjoyable holiday atmosphere at Alexandre Grand Teguise Playa. The location is lovely, the hotel has a great atmosphere and there are certainly positives to the overall experience. Unfortunately, the food was a huge let-down — particularly for an all-inclusive hotel. There was very little variety, with meals becoming repetitive very quickly. Even more concerning was the lack of clear and accurate labelling. Food was not consistently labelled with allergens, which made it extremely difficult for my partner, who has coeliac disease, to know what he could safely eat. For someone with coeliac disease, this isn’t about being fussy or simply preferring gluten-free food. Gluten can make them seriously ill, so clear allergen information is absolutely essential. We spent a significant amount of time trying to work out what was safe to eat, and ultimately had to eat out on numerous occasions because we couldn’t confidently rely on the food being suitable. This completely defeats one of the main benefits of booking an all-inclusive holiday — we had already paid for our meals, yet had to spend additional money eating elsewhere simply to ensure my partner could eat safely. Sadly, towards the end of our holiday, my partner became unwell after consuming gluten. This was extremely upsetting and completely took the shine off the final part of our trip. We had been doing our best throughout the holiday to avoid gluten, but the inadequate labelling made this incredibly difficult. If you have coeliac disease, I would seriously think twice before booking this hotel. We have stayed at other hotels where gluten-free requirements have been taken much more seriously, with clearly labelled food and staff who are knowledgeable about cross-contamination and allergens. That was not our experience here. It’s such a shame because the atmosphere really was one of the highlights of the hotel. With better food variety, proper allergen labelling and a much more reliable approach to catering for guests with coeliac disease, this could have been a much better experience. Overall, a lovely atmosphere and a great holiday setting, but the food and lack of suitable allergen information were significant enough to seriously affect our stay.
