“Fab hotel”

Absolutely fantastic holiday and the animation team at the hotel defo make the holiday we only came back for them can’t fault the place will be returning. My daughter love the place and are happy here and safe ……………..thank you for a fab holiday

Hotel was brilliant, staff helpful, bungalow clean & spacious, food was great always fresh, pool area was huge, plenty of sun beds, water however was freezing, entertainment was great for kids, Only negative was that the waterpark at HL Paradise was still not fully open so we paid to go to Aqua Lava which albeit was a brilliant day was an additional cost that we had already paid for with “full access” I would not do all inclusive again but that is just my personal choice based on what we got out of it rather than an issues

“Kids club 😔”

Stayed in a one bedroom bungalow with a trundle bed that pulled out from under the sofa. The trundle bed is more suited to a child. Asked for more pillows which were delivered within 10 minutes. Also asked for a mattress topper which came while we were out. The settee is very hard plastic and uncomfortable. The room really could benefit from another chair. Unfortunately our air con wasn't working. We made the decision to stay though as we liked the position of the bungalow so they delivered 2 big standing fans very quickly which did the job. Reception staff are brilliant all of them are so helpful and friendly. In fact out of all the holidays I've gone on I would say they are the best! The food was OK we always found something to eat. The snack bar near the pool had the same food every day, pizza, chips, burger, onion rings, hot dogs (dodgy looking) toasted sandwiches and sometimes fruit. Not great tbh. Kids club. You sign your child in and are asked if they can come and go or do they have to wait for you. Apart from the staff are not very vigilant and children are in and out all the time. it is a room with members of the animation team in. My 7 year old grandson said they only did painting and drawing and staff were on their mobiles a lot. The staff seemed bored and obviously didn't want to be there. There is a tiny area in front of the "kids club" with a couple of swings a ride and a slide. It was very poor and for this reason we wouldn't come back. At 8.30pm there is 30 minutes kids activity in the main entertainment area. Yes the pool is cold but you quickly get used to it. You will need flotation devices for children as apart from a very small paddling pool this is the main pool. There isn't a shallow end. I did water aerobics once and would have liked to have done it again but it seems that was it. I spoke to several other guests who said the same. Staff in the restaurant work hard and are so friendly. My daughter went to the gym which is excellent and very well run. If the kids club was a proper kids club and entertainment was better we would come again but sorry no. Playa Blanca is lovely it feels so safe so we will return but not here sadly 😔
