This hotel is in a great position close to the marina and 15 minutes from the airport. We treated ourselves to one of the swim up rooms which was enormous! The largest room we’ve ever stayed in! These rooms get the sun all day! Mini bar stock daily and all restaurants generally great especially the Italian, Pontifino. All staff were great especially the bar staff in the piano bar. Amazing cocktails with premium spirits as standard. Loads of sun loungers with none reserved which was a nice change. They must have double the number of sun loungers as guests! Only downside was a huge conference arrived for a couple of days who were rude, entitled, loud and totally disrespectful of other guests! They thought they ‘owned the place’ Marina is 15 minutes away where we hired a catamaran for the day which was a wonderful experience. Not all restaurants open all of the time but I guess this was due to the hotel not being full. One suggestion to the hotel would be to open the bar in the preferred club area in the evening for all guests to use - it’s a great space to sit with a Gin & Tonic overlooking the sea! Would definitely return!

Overall, this hotel is set in a beautiful position and only a 15 minute walk to the marina, which has many restaurants to choose from. On the whole the staff are extremely friendly and the hotel itself is kept very clean. The rooms are spacious, ours was with a sea view. We didn't see the point in upgrading to Preferred as there was little to gain as we were all inclusive anyway. You would get an even larger room, but you don't spend enough time there to make use of it. The food was ok, but not 5 star, I had steak at Bluewater and was disappointed, as this is their steakhouse. I had steak again in the Ocean restaurant and as not being a fish eater, I was looking forward to the chicken wrapped in bacon, only to be told that it was no longer on the menu despite it being on the menu. Again the steak was not great. The best restaurant was Portifino where we really enjoyed 2 dinners. I can only generously give 4 stars as we were looking forward to a lovely tranquil holiday for my birthday and this hotel by its description seemed to fit the bill. It did for the first couple of days until the noisiest of conference groups turned up. This group had a total disregard for any other guests who have paid good money to be there. One afternoon by the shallow pool, we felt taken over by a large group of people who were all talking very loudly and moving more and more sun loungers into this area. During their time at the hotel, the buffet area can only be descibed as a school dining hall, it was so noisy. I would love to return to this hotel as it has so much going for it, but I'm not sure I want to risk spending another week with a noisy conference group, it certainly wasn't tranquil.

A perfect destination for a holiday to recharge the batteries,relax and unwind.Easy access from the airport,comfortable and well-maintained rooms within an attractive setting overlooking the sea. Good facilities and most requirements catered for in terms of pools/bars and sporting/spa offers. Staff generally friendly and very helpful.The only area that lets the side down is the quality and service of food which was erratic. The food is somewhat sanitised which is a shame.Generous measures of alcohol avaialble for those that want it and are on "all-inclusive" basis which may be the focus rather than overall food quality?Do check when booking whether a large "corporate" event is being held as this may impact the enjoyment of your visit.
