Context - 62 year old male, solo traveller with Jet2. Just got back from a weeks stay here, and have to report no issues, well, none that actually bothered me at least. Location is quite good, just a few minutes walk to the sea front, usual array of touristy stuff, bars and shops etc, and also the main bus stop area with very regular services to the airport, Pollenca, Port d'Pollenca and south to Can Picafort, which I personally would recommend if you like walking the coast. The walk to the necropolis takes as long as you want it to, but it's worth the effort if you like that sort of thing, as I do. Alcudia is a 5 minute bus ride, or 20 minutes walk, get off the main road at the roundabout, (google maps shows you), walk along a very quiet single track road, pleasant and no traffic noise. As Alcudia dates back to Roman times the street plan is fortunately not vehicle friendly, which means it's great to walk around, there's a small section of the old medieval wall that you can get onto too. As for the buses, I would recommend using your own bank card to pay, it's cheaper but remember to 'tap in' and 'tap out', you will easily get used to how it works. As for the hotel itself, I didn't realise it when booking, but it is an 18+ hotel, no kids, which was great for me. I was in room 264, and whilst it could be said that it was perhaps a tadge on the smallish side, the big double bed took up most of the room, there was still plenty of room to get dressed for the day, and I am not going to stay in the room all holiday, so I had no real problem with the size of the room, and that bed was very comfortable. I prefer a firmer bed, and this was just right. I definitely got a good deal on the balcony, almost the same size as the room with two loungers, two chairs and a small table, but only big enough to put your beer and a book on, couldn't eat off it. Most of the balconies I could see only had the two chairs and the table on them, so much smaller, but still enough room to sit and relax in the morning sun. En suite, fine, I only had a shower, no bath, but I don't care about that, the walk in shower was maybe designed for a bloke with a smaller stature than I, I am 6' 3" and carry the beer gut to boot, maybe could have been another 10" wider, turning round in a small space like that takes some control, especially on a slippery shower base, tip, wear flip flops in this shower, more grip! The shower itself was a good one, plenty of power and no temperature fluctuations. On the incidentals, plenty of plug sockets, double built in wardrobe, fridge, safe, plenty of pillows, quite air con, double, lockable door to the balcony, with additional double slatted doors outside, no coffee making facilities though, although there were two wine glasses provided! As for the rest of the hotel, there are no carpets, anywhere, I guess this makes keeping the place clean a lot easier, but the heavier footed guests do make a bit of noise along the corridors, and because there are no carpets the sounds travel a bit, especially when the cyclists tramp along in their cycling shoes, add a bit of music and you could get a good tap dancing show out of it! The hotel is very cyclist friendly, I am not, but from what I saw there are very good facilities for them, secure storage and all that. Obviously you get the room you are allocated, as mine was internal overlooking the pool I had no issues with traffic noise, but there are roads along all sides of the hotel, I would not say they are busy roads at all, but traffic noise may be an issue if you get one of the outside rooms. Cooked breakfasts are typically Spanish, but plenty of it, their version of breakfast bacon still confuses me, rectangular and thin, I have yet to see any rectangular pigs from where this variety of bacon comes from, but it still tastes fine, of course there is always a wide variety of 'continental' breakfast offerings. The restaurant area is of a relatively good size, but it does get a bit busy, I found that if I left breakfast until about 09.30 there were more available tables, but obviously if you want to get out and about early, then you will just have to deal with it. I did not have an evening meal. I found ALL the staff to be very helpful and convivial, reception, waiting staff and the cleaning ladies, the lady that did my room even hoovered the balcony! It must be a pain sometimes to deal with grumpy tourists so just cut them a bit of slack OK? All in all a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The friendliest hotel in Alcudia,Been visiting this hotel for at least 15 years,wouldn't stop anywhere else.All staff from management down go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.Rooms cleaned daily,Good food selection,Drink prices comparable to local bars.Going back in September can't wait.

I stayed at this hotel ,asl have mobilty issues they gave me 105 on the ground floor ,the room had a wet room ,the beach is short walk from the hotel ,the staff friendly ,food was okay ,l believe if you ask at reception they will give you a kettle but l had my own ,l used holiday taxis for the transfers which were very good .During my stay a lot of cyclist were at the hotel but that was interesting

Amazing hotel with great facilities. Staff is very friendly and make you feel at home very quickly. Would recommend staying again. Extra plus points: our bus for departure left at 6 am and the brought us breakfast to the room in advance without fee or letting us know. Very sweet and thoughtful!... more
