MarSenses Ferrera Blanca Hotel is situated on the sea front at the Cove of Cala Ferrera, 30 minutes’ walk from Cala D’Or, the focal point of the area with its extensive range of shops, restaurants, bars, discos and amusements for children. Guests can take the tourist bus, with a stop just 100 m from the Aparthotel, to the marina at Cala d’Or, where there are many first-class restaurants offering both Mediterranean and international cuisine. It is worth spending a day at the Parque Natural de Cala Mondragó, less than 20 minutes’ drive away, which provides access to one of Majorca’s best unspoilt coves; the lovely fishing port of Portocolom with its traditional llaüts (fishing vessels) docked along the promenade; the spectacular Cuevas del Drach (Caves of Drach) with their 2.5 km long subterranean lake; or the town of Felanitx where a street market is held every Sunday. At its centre, the complex has two outdoor swimming pool over the beach. Around the pool areas, the solarium has hammocks and sunshades for the use of guests. The swimming pool has a lifeguard in attendance between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm.

“Exceptional staff”

Great hotel, staff are exceptionally helpful.Great vibe around the pool, especially at the pool party. Location is fab as you are right on the beach. Highly recommend a stay here.

A wonderfully managed hotel. So impressive that staff check in every day with their guests. Great access to the beach and never a fight for sunbeds. We’ve had a lovely stay.

Great hotel, clean and staff friendly. Staff were all friendly and helpful, we were greeted at check in by George who was fantastic throughout the entire stay. A real credit to your hotel. The room was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway!

“Had higher hopes”

We are here now, the hotels in a lovely area, plenty of restaurants on the doorstep and some Kids areas with bouncy castles, go karts, arcades etc. Hotel is nice, clean and I don’t think the ant problem is that bad, I haven’t seen any really in communal areas only on our balcony. The room is fine, clean, nice decor, beds are comfy but there isn’t enough storage for clothes for a family of 4. The kids are living out of suitcases for 10 days. The door doesn’t lock from the inside so I wouldn’t let your kids sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge, we don’t do this anyway but if you do then it’s something to think about. My 2 year old can reach the handle and run straight out. Food is mixed, I don’t think there is enough variety but this could be compared to what we’re used to. They don’t seem to do any themed nights but I could be wrong and there’s not a lot of options for kids, only pasta pizza and chips. Unless you go to the snack bar during the day and there is chicken nuggets and fish also. The mini disco isn’t the best in my opinion. Our kids have enjoyed much better else where. Can’t comment on the kids club as we havent used it. The splash park is great for younger ones and there’s 3 slides for bigger ones. Now, the reason we won’t come back. There are signs everywhere saying that you cannot reserve beds. This is great and I absolutely agree with it when people are leaving towels and disappearing for hours BUT you cant even nip to the toilet or to your room to get a change of clothes without your towels been removed. How they are policing this I don’t know, we’ve witnessed families staying in the pool for hours on end and not use their beds. These towels don’t get taken but if you lay on your bed all day and leave the area for say half an hour to grab something to eat then consider your beds gone. The rule is fine but it isn’t consistent and that is the problem. Just a thought, maybe you need more beds if that is at all possible.
