Perfect location to explore the city by foot. Located centrally, but the rooms are quiet. Beautiful rooftop bar. Luggage room available. Friendly staff. Guests can already select to have the cleaning service only every 3 days which is perfect from a sustainable point of view! :)

The only thing to spoil our stay was having our last meal at the sky bar, have eaten there other times having allways having a lovely meal. this time the food was terrible, i agree with the previous review, my calamari was the same, the pork meal was coverd in garlic and i meen coverd, we both had bad stomaches going home, also noticd 3 ladies sendig there food back in the afternoon. needs looking into. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city, on bus routes, lots of shops nearby but the price you pay for a central Palma hotel are the sleepless nights! A room on the main street side has relentless noise of bin wagons, bottle collections, street cleaners, roaring motorcycles and that is just during the night hours. The rooms are stylishly designed - however, style may be one thing - practicalities are another. The concept of a drawer in furniture seems to be elusive! Nowhere in this lovely wood finished and grey room is there a drawer. Everything has to be piled on the bedside shelf or floor, or stored on shelves. The shower room, while clinically clean, frequently exuded the smell of drains which wafted into the bedroom if the door was not closed (difficult to do since it did not shut properly anyway). The loud noise of scraping furniture above on the marble floors is truly intrusive at times. There is no lounge area, just a very uncomfortable bench seat in reception, while the touted rooftop Skybar does not open until 12 noon, so a morning coffee is not an option. The view is spectacular however. On our departing day we went up dead on noon for a last look and possibly get a coffee, but were told that the tables were all booked for lunch - at 1pm! We did persuade the waiter to serve us a coffee, by promising to be out within 20 minutes. We felt that we had caused a bit of inconvenience to him by messing up his lunch plans. Breakfast is pretty good, plenty of choice with three sittings up to 10.30, but the annoying drinks dispenser takes forever to fill two cups. The beds are comfortable, with three pillows and linen is changed daily. But we would not go back.
