Just returned from an extremely pleasant few days at this delightful hotel. Slight misunderstanding about our booking but they were most gracious in sorting it out. Outstanding treatment all round with a wonderful room - they clearly went over and above to make our stay as wonderful as possible. A huge emphasis on quality service, top notch food and a family run business. It is a dying art form nowadays, but the Bonsol is a perfect example of how it can still exist. Every member of staff was so pleasant and accommodating. The food is excellent with an amazing choice on offer and superb value for money. So many places to sit, different pools, seems very well set up for children in a lovely low-key way. The whole area is green and luscious around the hotel and gives you the sense of staying somewhere very grand from a bygone era - certainly not your typical Spanish hotel! The lift and tunnel system takes a little getting used to but is an incredible feat of engineering and design. We loved being there very early in the season as it was quiet with not too many people around and we were most appreciative of a late check-out. Absolutely loved being close to the beach! Excellent bus route to Palma from just outside the hotel makes the whole island extremely accessible.

What a wonderful family owned hotel. The rooms all appear to be slightly different but very comfortable and the beds and pillows so comfortable. Egg dishes at breakfast are all freshly cooked and the buffet breakfast has an array of lovely bread, fresh meats, cheeses, fruit and there if freshly squeezed orange juice if you want! I loved the bacon but I like my bacon crispy! The main restaurant in the evening is table service and the food is delicious. Dinner has a pianist playing throughout dinner and then plays in the bar where many an impromptu singer will request their favourite songs and the pianist will accompany the rendition! The hotel is quirky with tunnels and lifts connecting the main hotel with more rooms, spa, gym and then further tunnel to the private beach area which has a bar and restaurant open in the warmer months. We spent most afternoons by the heated pool which was lovely and warm. There are changing rooms and showers next to this pool which was also a bonus. We didn't go to the private beach as the sea was a bit cold at this time of year. The bus stop to Palma is just across from the main hotel which is handy for anyone wanting to tour the island without a car and they are frequent. The family are always seen about the hotel and will sort any problems you may experience promptly. The staff are amazing and friendly without being intrusive. All in all we wish we had found this hotel long before now as many guests were return guests who had been coming for years. We have now booked to come back in October and look forward to it

This is a unique hotel, full of character with staff who are unfailingly friendly and helpful along with the family owners who go out of their way to be welcoming and attentive. We went to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and they did us proud with a lovely table and individual attention during their gala evening which was to celebrate the anniversary of their opening. With their own little beach and a choice of restaurants where you can either overlook the sea or dine in their splendid main dining room. Our room was good, the food was good, can’t fault it and would recommend it to anyone.
