I am writing this review of the Fergus Bermudas hotel to say a huge thank you to all involved for giving us a wonderful holiday to celebrate our 43rd Wedding Anniversary at your fantastic hotel. On arrival at reception we were greeted by Sandra who gave us a very warm welcome. Due to a very early morning flight from Bristol, Sandra explained that our room was not yet ready, but it was a priority and we would be allocated it very quickly. I had fully expected this so was not at all worried. Sandra fully checked us in and explained the layout of the hotel and all of the facilities we could use. After storing our luggage in a secure area myself and my wife then sat in the lovely pool area next to the pool bar with a drink of refreshing cold orange juice provided by a very friendly chap behind the bar. It was at this point that we already knew that we had chosen the perfect hotel for our stay. After only 45 minutes we were allocated room 308. This was on the third floor and had beautiful views of the hotel pool and gardens and unobstructed views of the hills and lovely scenery to the right of the hotel. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We were more than happy with it. One minor thing I did notice was that there was no kettle and tea & coffee making facilities, which I had been expecting. When I enquired about this at reception Sandra explained that this was provided on a request basis as not all guests would use the facility. A very logical reason I thought. Sandra then organised the kettle and required items to be delivered to the room very quickly. Throughout the week the room was cleaned and tidied each day by very happy and smiling cleaning staff, who were always very friendly and would always ask to make sure everything was ok and that we had everything. When we are on holiday, we do not spend a great deal of time in the room as we are out and about sightseeing or socialising, but it was always a pleasure to come back to the room to relax, especially sitting on the balcony. It was our little “home from home” for the next seven days. After we had unpacked and refreshed ourselves we then went for a walk in the local area and then had a drink in the hotel bar. We then returned to the room to get ready for an evening out. At about 7pm there was a knock on the door. On opening it I was greeted by “Janet” who was holding an ice bucket, 2 glasses and a bottle of champagne with a lovely card to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were absolutely delighted and Janet was wonderful in congratulating us and taking a lovely picture of us to treasure the moment forever. I also believe that it was Sandra who had arranged this lovely surprise, so a huge thank you to Sandra and Janet for making us so happy on our first night. After a lovely first night, the next morning we attended breakfast. The dining area was large and spacious and a fantastic offering of various breakfast delights were available. It was all very well presented and cooked perfectly. The same can be said for several lunches and dinners we also had during the week. There was always a very good selection of choices and for the evening meals there would be themed food such as Asian, Italian and local dishes on different nights. I think we managed to try everything at least once and were always very satisfied. All of the staff working in the dining area were always lovely and friendly and could not do enough to help you and make sure you had everything you needed. We were also given “picnics” on 2 occasions as we were off out on day excursions. These were great and included a sandwich, 2 pieces of fruit, biscuits and a drink, which was perfect for a snack during our time out. As I mentioned earlier, when on holiday, me and my wife like to venture out exploring and sightseeing. But after a good day out, we do like to sit in the bar area and relax with a few drinks and then enjoy any entertainment that maybe on later during the night. On this holiday we had some fab evenings with bingo, dancing and a lovely guitarist. So many thanks to Elenor and Ache and any other staff for organising these evenings. We would also like to say thanks to Salva and all the bar staff that looked after us. However, a very special thank you has to go to Kristoffer and Veni for looking after us so much during our entire stay for the week. You always made us so happy with your friendliness and kindness whenever we were in the bar. Also, both of you, along with Janet, made the actual night of our wedding anniversary very special indeed. We had an absolutely fantastic night and one that we will always remember with great fondness. Thank you again and we really hope we can all meet up again one day. Finally, a big thank you to Fergus Bermudas for giving us a wonderful holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful week in all respects. Your hotel is beautiful and we would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. But what really stood out for us was the staff that run the hotel. They were all so kind and friendly and always helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They are a real credit to the hotel. So thank you to all of them. Staff are excellent, we opted for the All inclusive package, food was plentiful, loads to choose from and very tasty. Loads of bars etc close by beach is a 5min stroll away.

Ellinor who is entertainment is friendly and fully engaging and does a great job with a poor programme Downsides pool not heated €3.5 a day charge for a safe €10 deposit for towel. No offer of a kettle to use in room

“Would go again”

Great hotel, beach around corner and plenty of bars and shops, lovely junior suite over pool, fab shower and uk tv channels, great breakfast choice until 10.30 am, very socialable and friendly staff, entertainment throughout the day, good singers at night too.
