We stayed at Sol Palmanova on the 17th April for a week with our toddler. After checking the reviews of the hotel a few days before, we were quite concerned with the amount of negative feedbacks recently - however, after our stay we honestly can not complain about anything! This was our first family holiday and chose somewhere relatively close to fly to from the UK. For a weeks all inclusive, with flights, insurance, private transfers and the hotel it cost just under £1200.00. The hotel it’s self worked out at £30 per person per day for the week - who can complain at that?! Check in was easy, a little slow yes, however that is to be expected when having to check passports. We were provided with a slip of paper with all the informations and times on, which was handy to keep hold of. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool, it was very clean and had fresh towels and bedding daily! TIP - if you are on floor 1-6 there is a lift just for these floors and is a little quicker. Food was great, always plenty to choose from no matter how picky you are. The bar was great, sometimes there was a queue, however it’s to be expected! We ate out a few times while we were exploring and would highly recommend B3stial for a good burger and Loli for an amazing pizza slice. The kids pool wasn’t open the day we arrived, however was available a few days later, so that was good for our daughter. Yes they were cold, however I’m sure a 5* hotels pool would be cold as is the sea lol. For kids there are a few parks dotted around the area (one being right out the back of the hotel), Katmandu is probably a 15 min walk and there is an amazing Mini Golf further down the beach. Overall, we would definitely return! It was a great location close to the beach and a half hour bus to Palma itself :)

“Excellent service and exceptional entertainment staff”

I cannot find anything bad to say about this hotel. Stayed at the Sol Palmanova ll sister hotel next door. If was amazing. Excellent food. Spotless clean. Staff Alex, Sarah, Eduardo, David and Hugo. amongst many were exceptional 👏 👌 well done X We will be back later this year.

Lovely hotel, lovely position. Food good for all-inclusive. There's always something to eat . I was disappointed at the noise at night, mainly between 1am 7am . Youngsters staying at the hotel then venturing over to magaluf to party then carrying on the party when getting back to the hotel. Lots... more

Lovely hotel, lovely position. Food good for all-inclusive. There's always something to eat . I was disappointed at the noise at night, mainly between 1am 7am . Youngsters staying at the hotel then venturing over to magaluf to party then carrying on the party when getting back to the hotel. Lots of banging on doors screaming shouting and running up and down landings. It was our 4th visit to palma nova. Second at sol palmanova, sorry to say we won't return. As said on review below palmanova will end up being the new magaluf. Such a shame.

Fantastic Hotel for families , the children are very well catered for by the Entertainment Team. In fact the entertainment team I will give them 10/10 covering children and adult entertainment. Hotel is clean , bed was comfortable, only issue the maids would start knocking on your door from 8am in the morning and will return until you finally let them in, There is no “Do not Disturb” to hang outside the room door. So I felt a lack of privacy. Food was average , but ate most of the week in the restaurant, so there was something to eat for everyone. I see this hotel as a great Family hotel , but I feel you will loose this if you continue to serve as many Alcoholic drinks as a person wants. Younger visitors were ordering 5 cocktails and 10 Vodka shots over and over again. Younger groups were getting roudier and roudier, causing havoc in front of young children .. pushing each other in the pool, falling in the restaurant etc. Magaluf has now got a 6 drink a day policy in A/I trying to change the drinking culture. But I’ve got a feeling they are now staying in Palma Nova instead, and Palma Nova will be the new Magaluf, which would be very sad.
