Well travelled family used to 4 and 5 star resorts, cruising and travel to Italy etc. Seriously impressed by this calm and friendly hotel. Trust me, it is definitely worth the taxi ride. Definitely returning. Here we go! 😁 (Mum, Dad, 15 boy, 10 girl) Ground floor rooms at pool side - you can request baby facilities and parents get to relax. We have older kids and went for a mountain views room - much quiter. Music stops at 10.30 which is enough as it is loud. Take ear plugs if you need. There is a large pool with shallow part and baby pool. Take a swim chair for babies as they can't sit in it, too deep at around two foot. There are recycled float devices so no need to buy plastic! The little shop sells bakery stuff and cheap beer and 50p water. The cafe is great for lunch. Drinks reasonable. Cocktails €7 of you're self catering. Try the Bramble on an evening - quality bar tenders and they work so hard. Cleaning 🧼 🧹 WOW can these lovely Spanish ladies clean. Immaculate everywhere. Beds: Memory foam with immaculate clean sheets. Kids have a large sofa bed (note that it has huge gaps which is a hazard for toddlers) pad it at the sides. I'm yet to find a good sofa bed after 15 years of travel. Nobody's fault. Restaurant food: AMAZING 🤩 I won't hear otherwise. Anybody who doesn't like it lives off nuggets and pizza. This is exceptional service and quality from a very talented head chef. I told him so. We have been on 5 star cruises that match this food. Not boasting, just painting the picture for you. They even have a butter machine 😂 Bring a bottle for kids drinks, they have an ice bucket too. Fresh fruit, no bruised mush. Coffee ☕ It's good - and I'm a snob. Showers are good - bathrooms clean but liable to minor wear and tear. They need to fix the bathroom mirrors that are loose but I'm being picky. AIR CONDITIONING 🌬️ Thank God! It was so beautiful. Beds, luxury pillows, air con. You can't ask for more. I slept so well. Reminder for those ear plugs again! SPA Escape the kids for 20 minutes, parents. Take your towel and go chill. Let mum go first 🥇 Taxis. Download the app. Get a taxi to Pollenca and enjoy a special dinner people watching. The markets are ace and I liked Boney Bar for the 6pm cocktails. Go see the disco toilet 🪩

This hotel just does everything right! I honestly can’t find fault (well 2 small things I’ll mention later). The staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming, and genuinely seem to enjoy working at this hotel and all seem part of a happy team / work family. The reception staff are great they welcome you every time you come through the main doors, the bar staff / waiters can’t do enough and are all very friendly, the cleaners and maintenance chaps again all really friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculate from top to bottom, the gardens pristine, the pool spotless, the rooms are immaculately clean with plenty of room for a family of four with a great little kitchen area if you are self catering. The chefs are fantastic and the food is very very good, set out in a lovely dining room with outside seating if you wish, plenty of variety and choice, breakfasts are great with healthy options and traditional breakfasts, with proper back bacon. On an evening it’s a different theme every night, the seafood night being my favourite with heaps of lobster, langoustines and prawns etc… plenty to choose from for the kids and fussier eaters as well. Lovely little gym on the lower floor with a nice adults only spa area, indoor plunge pool / steam / sauna and the like again all immaculate. Maurice and the rest of the animations team are great with the kids, plenty going on but not overbearing either. Fun entertainment on a night for both kids and adults and all finished for 10:30pm ish. We rented a car via reception for a couple of days and it was easy, cheap and arrived when they said it would. They can also plan other trips and excursions for you all very easily. For the 2 little faults I mentioned at the start of the review, and it’s only my opinion, I’d like to have a bit of music around the main pool maybe on an afternoon just on low to add to the atmosphere and the location of the hotel is out of town, so if you’re wanting to go into the centre (which is a very lovely place) it is a fair walk (too hot for us this time), there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel and they seem to be every 20 mins or so or a taxi via the app is around 10 or 12 euros, but can take a while to arrive. But with the hotel being out of town slightly it’s very quiet and is across the road from the stunning bay. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in a lot of countries over the years and I can’t praise this one enough! They have got it just right and I look forward to staying again.

We stayed here at the beginning of July for a week with three children aged 2, 7 and 10. We had the best time! I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were all so lovely and friendly (Arslan and Ruben in particular!) and the hotel itself is lovely and clean and spacious. We stayed full board, the breakfast was absolutely delicious - a huge, fresh buffet, lunch was also really nice and you ordered off an à la carte menu and it was just like eating out at a gorgeous restaurant every day and the evening buffet was also nice. With 3 children that all like to eat different things - this worked perfectly for us. We had a room on the ground floor not far from where the evening entertainment is and initially I wanted to change to a higher up apartment. However, after the first day I saw the many benefits to our ground floor room and balcony and was really pleased. We had a great time here and never found the pool to be too busy (however we were there just before the schools broke up). We would definitely go back!

We’ve just returned from 10 days at club del Sol. Overall we had a brilliant time, the hotel is clean, the rooms are nice and the vibe and atmosphere round the pool is great. We couldn’t speak more highly of the reception staff who helped when our son was unwell or the entertainment team who our daughters absolutely loved. If you want somewhere within walking distance of bars and restaurants this isn’t the place for you however it is perfectly in between Pollensa and Alcudia and the bus comes every 20 minutes so it’s perfect for exploring both. If we had one main criticism it would be the kitchen. We read that the room is well equipped for self catering however there is no oven, just two hob rings and a microwave, and the cutlery provided is very limited. The kitchen space is also very small. We were self catering and just about managed to get by but wouldn’t recommend the hotel for any families who are planning to cook regular meals. Overall we had a great time though and a big thank you to all the staff
