Great value first family holiday – don't overlook this one! (8/10) We booked this as our first family holiday abroad (two adults and three boys aged 4, 6, and 11) and, despite some initial apprehension, we had a fantastic time. The weather and location were brilliant, and watching the kids just jump in and out of the pool having fun made the whole trip totally worth it. Accommodation & Facilities The hotel gets a bit of stick for being dated, and it’s true that some areas could do with a tidy-up. However, the rooms are spotless, serviced daily, and managed to fit the five of us comfortably. At the end of the day, you're there for the outdoors, not the room! * A quick suggestion: A coffee pod machine in the rooms would be a great addition. * WiFi: Strong, reliable, and completely hassle-free. * Water: You get a complimentary water bottle in the fridge upon arrival, which you just refill at the bar to keep your room stocked. Food & Drink (All-Inclusive) Food is always the main talking point on an all-inclusive, and you definitely won’t go hungry here. * Meals & Snacks: The restaurant serves hot snacks between lunch and dinner. Cold snacks at the pool bar are a bit limited and tend to run out quickly, but there's a steady supply of various ice cream cartons. * Drinks: There is a much wider selection of included drinks than you might realise—you just have to ask. Cocktails are from a machine but taste absolutely fine, and they have San Miguel, draught cider, and sangria on tap. You only pay extra if you want premium brands like Jack Daniel's. Pool & Entertainment * Staff: Absolutely wonderful. The animation team really went out of their way to make us and the boys feel welcome. * Kids Club & Activities: Runs from 10:00 to 13:00 with something for all ages, alongside pool basketball and water polo. There’s also a gaming room that opens twice a day for kids who really need their screens and consoles. * Sunbeds: As expected, the early morning towel dash does happen. It would be good to have a few more sunbeds, though space around the pool is fairly limited. The pool bar itself is functional, if in need of a slight refresh. Location & Transport * Beach: There’s a small pebble beach attached to the hotel, but the main sandy beach at Santa Ponça is well worth the 15–20 minute walk (or a quick bus ride). * Transfers & Trips: Our easyJet transfer from the airport took about 40 minutes. The hotel offers plenty of excursion options, though we just stuck to the beach. Overall, a strong 8/10 with absolutely no regrets. A great place to try, especially given the location and price.

Honest review - just back after a week staying here. Honest review - just back after a week staying here. Pros - food variety is good, different each night and cooked well (ignore any negative reviews on this) - room is spacious, plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids, and we had a good view for tired kids on the balcony to watch the evening entertainment after the disco - lovely location and great views - short transfer with easyJet (30 mins) - room cleaned daily, not fresh bed sheets but beds made and fresh towels daily - entertainment team friendly - hair braiding ladies are so nice. Everyday from 1530 and they are €15 each. Located next to the pool bar and cove - shops 5 min walk away, the Glasgow bar played the football for us - very clean hotel - we asked for extra pillows and got given as many as requested. - paid €60 for a late checkout at 6pm and got a room with shower, bed etc so we could relax until our 6:30pm pick up Cons - early arrival situation. We arrived at 12:30pm and granted our room was not ready, we were told to enjoy lunch and come back as it’s very ‘rare’ that our room wouldn’t be ready. Came back at 13:30 to be sarcastically told ‘3pm is check in time’. I mentioned the fact we were actually told to come back at this time. I was then told I would be phoned to avoid waiting around when our room was ready. My 4 year old fell asleep in reception and my partner went off with my two eldest children. We then asked for an update at 14:30 to be told our room had been ready since 1400?? No phone call and I was sat right in front of them! - sunbeds are being reserved at midnight. We had to go down at 530 just to get 3 beds for 5 of us and still had limited choice. You can see towels on beds that haven’t been used for hours - pool is very busy - smaller pool with slides is full of floats and older kids making it chaotic at times. I know it’s expected in the summer holidays but it’s a lot. The life guard is good at telling people the rules in the bigger pool but the smaller one seems to get left, my four year old got taken out a few times on the slides by bigger kids - pool bar is busy and has a very strange smell at times. Only one person serving drinks and we found majority of the time there were no cups for the self serve soft drinks and didn’t get any help when asking for cups - not enough chairs in the evening for every family, tables never cleaned in the evening - aircon is not great at all, we complained and were told it was working at 90% so nothing could be done but it should get better. It didn’t and was sometimes very warm in the room - extremely wet floor walking through inside bar during the day and night, be careful - queue times for evening bar and sometimes pool bar can get long - slush machine for kids temperamental We enjoyed our stay to as best as we could but wouldn’t return
