Busy hotel we went 7th to 14th April lot of spanish was here... The food can't complain bit for everyone's liking One day they had corneto cones put you own ice cream on and treats on top went well especially for kids.. They had natcho with cheese etc.. If you want your food hot like my husband does these a microwave.. The stir fry is very tasty... There was one day towels were put on sunbeds early..manager and staff removed them rolled them up put on table...due to the fact some people were going out all day and coming back late to yous the sunloungers... Plenty of beds on top of terrace We went on bus to palmnova only €3 each and port anthrax €9each It's a lovely hotel but there's always the minority who do not respect to keep the noise down.. But any problems just ring reception and security is there to sort it Entertainment on ever night Plastic cups during day But evenings it nice wine in nice glasses It's a lovely clean hotel our room was cleaned everday We would definitely come back Thanks to staff making us welcome and been helpful 👏👏👏👏

“Great base for exploring”

We booked TUI Suneo Santa Ponsa but when we arrived we were told we were staying at the Pionero. This was a bit of a surprise as wasn’t what we had booked but on checking in sure enough that was where we were booked. We booked TUI Suneo Santa Ponsa but when we arrived we were told we were staying at the Pionero. This was a bit of a surprise as wasn’t what we had booked but on checking in sure enough that was where we were booked. Would’ve been nice to have some form of contact from TUI regarding this though! Hotel is nice. Basic but clean and a great base. I wouldn’t say it is 4 star worthy though if I’m honest. Food was a bit hit and miss for me personally. Plenty of choice for meat eaters, vegetarian and vegans even. Some of the food was a bit cold but all in all was your average all inclusive set up. Staff were really friendly so can’t complain about them. Room was nice. Again clean and basic although the view was dreadful but we just used the hotel as a base and went off exploring on the bus. Pool area was clean and seemed ok though didn’t get to use it much with the weather and only a short trip. Santa Ponsa itself was lovely. Bit quiet for us but it was the end of April and weather wasn’t the best. Buses are good. We went into Palma and Port Andraxt on the bus both of which were quick and easy. Got a taxi to Palma Nova which was 10 euros and took 10 mins. Only downside we had was that we couldn’t get a late checkout as our flight home wasn’t until 11pm so it meant hanging around for what seemed hours. We did get use of a courtesy room for 30 minutes for the two of us to shower and change. Not sure if I would go back to this area but for what we paid can’t complain too much.

“Could be so much better”

The hotel is spotless, staff very friendly, food good. The hotel is in a great location with the beach at the end of the road. The downsides to the hotel for me were the ducks swimming in the pool every day, it doesn’t help when people feed them there should be signs up stating it is not allowed.... more

The hotel is spotless, staff very friendly, food good. The hotel is in a great location with the beach at the end of the road. The downsides to the hotel for me were the ducks swimming in the pool every day, it doesn’t help when people feed them there should be signs up stating it is not allowed. The staff were pretty quick cleaning up the duck droppings. We were charged 47.50 euros plus a 10 euro deposit for a safety deposit box for 4 nights which is quite extortionate, The evening entertainment was good but starts too late and not enough seats for everyone. There is building work going on next to the hotel, the noise is awful and the road very busy with diggers and lorries.
