We started out in Carcassonne and drove to Spain to stay in this quaint little hotel as my husband has been wanting to come here for a number of years. The rooms were lovely, and very comfortable. We were on the top floor and had a view over looking the mountains and sea. The breakfast was gorgeous and you could get bacon and eggs if you liked, the lady made her own jam and cake, which was always available at breakfast. Unfortunately they don't do evening meals anymore, but there are plenty of places as you go down to town. Well worth a visit, it was helped also by the weather a lovely 30 degrees.

Top notch breakfast, more than you need. Everything is homemade and delicious. The grounds offer a relaxing atmosphere, every morning I walked in the expanse grass fields. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Nothing to disturb your comfort. The living rooms come as a bonus to the guest - another place to relax and feel free to do what you want. Recommended! And close to many good places if go by car.

My wife and I stayed here in May for 4 nights and I need to state at the outset that the husband/wife owners ( Mateo and Montserrat ) are among the nicest, warmest, most helpful proprietors of any Bed and Breakfast that we have stayed at in 18 years of vacations in Europe. It's a cliche to say that we were "treated like family", but that's the feeling we came away with. The room itself had a balcony with a nice view and a very comfortable bed. There were large commons rooms and I was able to use a refrigerator made available to guests. Breakfasts were big and quite varied. Fresh orange juice, eggs made to order, yogurt, classic Catalan tomato bread, coffee, home made cake, excellent olive oil, cheese and cold meats. You get the idea. One morning I think I counted 11 different items. We had dinner there one night and the food was yummy. Here's an example of how accommodating they are: There was a young couple from Finland staying there who both had problems with gluten. Montserrat cooked a complete gluten free dinner for them. Their English is very good and they have lots of ideas of places to go. Lots of private parking on the grounds right next to the building and since it's just outside Santa Susanna, it's in a calm and peaceful location. Quiet at night and birdsong in the morning. Having said that, it's worth noting that it's also right near the big N-11 road which gives quick access to day trips ( we had a rental car ). Since our vacation was based on traveling by car throughout the countryside, we didn't go into Barcelona but the train to the city is easy access to/from Can Rosich. We wish Mateo and Montserrat the best. They are dear people and the kind of hosts who make a vacation memorable.

“Lovely place off the beach side with a sea view”

If you're searching for a quiet place to stay, not too big and not too far from the beach, Can Rosich is definately worth visiting. I stayed for a week at Can Rosich and really enjoyed it. very good breakfast, beautifull old farmers house, the people are very very friendly and helpfull. At night, it's quiet, maybe sometimes a car is passing but I slept very well (one of the main reasons for my trip to Spain: quietness and lots of sleep). In half an hour walk, you're on the beach but you can also ask for a bike. Santa Susanna and the places around have a good walking and bicycle track, very comfortable. if you have a car, it's quiet easy to travel around. I visited Girona, Port Lligat (Salvador Dali residence) and the castle of Gala Dali at Pubol. And ofcourse the places around Santa Susanna: San Pol de Mar and the botanical gardens of Blanes. All worth a visit.
