We have been to the Presidente over 13 times and have booked for June and September this year 2026. The hotel is very clean and modern. The food is very good, caters for all. We are vegetarian and always something we like to eat. Always a good variety of food for everyone. The staff are exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. This starts with the cleaning staff, restaurant staff, bar staff and reception. The Manager is always available and is friendly and helpful. One of the best features of the hotel is the staff, they go out of their way to help. Always a plus is The Philippines which is situated under the Presidente. Entertainment every night, good bar prices and a discount when stopping in the hotel. Hotel is situated near shops and other bars but far enough away not to be noisy. Always a few minutes walk from the beach. Pool area is very clean and a nice sun trap. We have in previous years been to other hotels, but none compare to the Presidente. That's why we keep returning. Never had any problems there. This we think is the best Hotel in Benidorm. Looking forward to returning to the Presidente in a few weeks.

“Great holiday.”

Excellent hotel, fantastic rooms, great food. Staff very helpful & friendly. Entertainment the best, bar staff and waiters are the greatest. Prices are very reasonable also.

This hotel is Fantastic & has really lovely adapted disabled rooms that really are disabled friendly unlike a lot of other hotels that say they are but are not ( The Meliá being the worst one!) It also has a fantastic disabled feature that sets it out amongst other hotels. That is because here disabled rooms are on the ground floor & have no balcony. Instead you get an enclosed private space outside of your room at the pool area that is reserved to you by your room number so you can sunbathe & relax comfortably with no bother & space for disabled equipment walkers wheelchairs etc. it really does make a HUGE difference. The lifeguards make sure that only ppl from those rooms use that area. That is WHY we keep coming back & talking to other disabled users they feel the same. The only criticisms I do have about the disabled stay is PLEASE do something to help your disabled guests enjoy use of the pool. As we get hot too & would love a dip in the pool. It is VERY disappointing that you have not done this either by a hoist chair like other hotels or the cheaper aqua chair to help guests in & out of the pool Instead a lifeguard offered a tiny inappropriate sling & said he would carry me even though I am twice his size & it was dangerous. Please rectify this as I have been to your hotel 5 times in 4 years & despite repeat asking by myself & other guests this has still not been fixed or done. Also at meal times disabled tables should be reserved to the rooms as we end up getting shoved to the back by people wanting the front disabled tables that have not paid for a disabled room. Fine if they have already been used by occupants of disabled rooms the Maitre D would know this &could then let the waiters know. It's just little things overlooked from disabled guests P.O.V The cleanliness & maintenance is brilliant here though andthe staff could not be more friendly & helpful . The food - there is plenty of choice and all is wonderful. The nightly entertainment both downstairs at Phillip ones is amazing and in the actual hotel too. A BIG shout out to the house resident singer Mario he always gets the crowd going & is so funny. Over all this hotel is fantastic & is right in the heart of things but set back enough for people that enjoy a more relaxing holiday. The beach is 10 mins away. Please please sort out something for your disabled guests to get in your pool & reserving dining tables for the disabled rooms guests. I really love this hotel though & just hope they finally sort these issues as I know MORE disabled people would go or come back if they did

“Not the same”

My wife and I stayed here for the second time on 25th March for one week full board. We were allocated room 502 which when we saw where it was and how dingy, we returned to reception to complain and were given room 708 which was much better. My wife and I stayed here for the second time on 25th March for one week full board. We were allocated room 502 which when we saw where it was and how dingy, we returned to reception to complain and were given room 708 which was much better. I was looking forward to my first pint of draught Spanish lager/beer at the lounge bar,but to my great dismay was greeted by Heineken,Coors and the British brewed rubbish version of Spanish lager/beer Madri which was expensive. I then found out that all the sister hotels and bars in this chain have changed to this awful choice. The meals are O.K. but not as good as the last time we visited. Someone wants to tell the chef not to boil the vegetables to death so they are mush and have no taste. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and all the staff pleasant and hard working especially Gena in the hotel lounge who always greets you with a smile and hello. So unfortunately we will not be returning again and it will be back to the Don Pancho and draught San Miguel.
