Nice hotel just away from the strip that is benidorm. Very clean, helpful staff.

We have visited for a short break before Xmas for the last two years. The hotel was very festive and it was nice to get a bit of winter sun. It wasn't shorts and t shirt weather and I wouldn't try the out door pool but you definitely don't need your big coat! Breakfast 8-10.30am free drinks inc tea, coffee, waters, juice, cava Half board includes your lunch or evening meal, you can choose each day and drinks are chargeable. We enjoyed this flexibility. You can pay on the way out of the restaurant or put on your room tab. QR codes are on the table for the drinks menu. Typical prices in restaurant are water €2, soft drink €2.50, bottle of wine €13 and they can save the wine with your room number on for your next meal. Lunch 13-3.00pm Dinner 7-9.30pm Food was lovely. Breakfast was the best meal, patries, churros, amazing donuts, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, full English etc. We always found food we enjoyed at the other meals and the kids loved the ice cream machine and sweets. It wasn't a big thing but I didn't like that they only set up tables for 6 people or 2 people. We were a party of 4. The 6 seater tables had notices to only sit there if you were a party of 5-6 so we didn't want to sit there and be asked to move. The tables for 4 were always set up for only two people so we had to wait for additional cutlery or go looking for it. Half board worked well for us as we were only there for a few days and liked being out and about. We didn't have the option to go all inclusive for a short break. There are shops right outside for crisps, water & drinks. There is also a big supermarket up the hill to the left that is very cheap. You get one bottle of water free in room and are charged for using drinks in mini fridge at €1.85 for a small bottle of water. Its much cheaper to get water from the supermarket. €0.50 for a large bottle. You need your room key for drinks at the bar/meal times. Check in 4pm (might be ready earlier we got straight in 1pm both times we visited) Check out 12pm There is an Arcade with payable games & a pool table. Most €1. Free ping pong table. The kids really loved this. Escape room €30 booked with entertainment team & paid at reception. We didn't get out but enjoyed trying! When we enjoyed the evening entertainment we saw. Jet2holidays customers can access the indoor pool for 1 hour per day free of charge. Children can access the indoor pool between 16.00 and 19.00, and must be accompanied by an adult. Bathing cap and flip flops are required and are available to buy in the hotel if you dont take them with you. You can rent towels for a refundable deposit but there is no need to pay if you just use them for the indoor pool and don't take them away from the pool & spa area. Our family room was spacious enough. Big beds which were comfortable and cleaned well every day. To use the safe it's a €10 deposit for the key but it's refunded when you leave. The location is up a slight hill but not an issue for most. Its very close to the old town and not far from the beach. We will definitely return again at some point.

We arrived 11 April Wonderful reception staff (as always). Excellent personal skills and very friendly. Our room 605 on the 6th floor was great Exceptionally clean and well kept by the best maid ever. The bar staff , Juan, marina and Manuel were all outstanding. A couple were not as friendly but still tended the bar. But that’s our opinion. Drinks were amazing quality We were all inclusive but I had to pay a bit for my Campari ( not an issue to me) each time which I was happy to do. Facilities were good overall. A few too many children for me but I suppose it the beginning of the summer season. We normally visit end of March. They did have a day where they had the septic tanks emptied. It took all day unfortunately and the smell was not good, even smelled in the bedroom but I suppose it has to be done. Just wish it had been done the day before when it was raining. The sun deck could not be used that day. (And the sun was shining) The entertainment was not as good as last year but watchable . We don’t come to Benidorm to stay in the hotel each night so we were happy for the few days we stayed in. Food was nice but Some evenings there was not enough meat/ fish to choose from as they don’t cook enough to serve all those waiting But we didn’t go hungry -again just our opinion. Cannot fault the standard of the rooms and the service of the cleaners The entertainment at night was very poor and has went downhill since our last visit with. very poor acts Food was a good standard but staff need to be more aware if children eating as we had 2 young kids who were running about lifting cakes etc and putting it back. Early morning continental breakfast would have expected milk & butter & spreads available 7.15 am.
