“Nice”

Lovely hotel, foods good nice people, spotless throughout, prices fair. This hotel has 3 pools 1 indoor. The place has a lovely ambience about it, and yet just a few minutes walk from the bustle of the town, can't go wrong here, i would return.

Room was small in size but ample. 2 single beds together, large double wardrobe with mirrors on, plenty hangers, free safe, tv which we didnt use, keycard entry to room blocks and rooms, maids in daily, plenty plug sockets, near bedside table and dressing table. mini fridge, hairdryer, toiletries supplied. Air con wasn't working and was quite warm, maybe due to time of year. Food good and rotated menu daily with show cooking included. Dining room busy but plates cleared quickly, no problem with service and great availability of products, quickly rotated and a very clean area. Pool area large and nice with daily entertainment. Sunbeds were a problem due to being reserved very early and all day without usage, which was disappointing as its not something we would do and only want to use for couple of hours at a time. Pool side toilets sometimes required cleaning / bins emptying. Outdoor and indoor activities, pool table, shuffle, table tennis, indoor and outdoor bar. Lifeguard on duty, 2 outdoor pools and indoor pool available. Sometimes quite noisy at Pool area and overnight due to large number of groups.

We stayed at Pueblo Hotel from 31st March to 8th April. The first thing to mention is the location — it’s excellent. It’s away from the main strip, but only about a 5-minute walk, so it’s the perfect distance if you want to be close without being in the middle of all the noise. Benidorm market is right next door on Wednesdays and Sundays, which was great. If you walk straight down the road in front of the hotel, you reach the beach in around 7 minutes. There’s also a supermarket nearby and plenty of bars if you don’t want to go onto the strip. We also walked to the old town, which took about 25 minutes. Overall, a great location. Noise levels were generally okay. We had noisy neighbours for 2 days, but once in bed, outside noise wasn’t too bad, even with the balcony door open. The atmosphere was good. The hotel felt very Spanish, with some British guests too. There were hen and stag groups, as well as families, so overall it was a good mix. Our room had twin beds pushed together, which was fine, although the beds were a little hard. The air conditioning did not work, which was disappointing. The room came with a hairdryer and fridge, and the balcony was a good size. We were on the 15th floor, so the views were great, but because the balcony had railings only, if you dropped something it was gone! The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was a good size and worked well. The rooms were clean, and the hotel overall was very clean. If you didn’t want full cleaning service, they would still provide fresh towels and toilet paper. Value for money was okay. Drinks in Spain ranged from around €1.50 to €3.50 depending on what you had. The area felt very British, and we found some good food — we had an Indian meal that was amazing. Hotel service was good, and reception staff were helpful. It cost €46 to extend the room from 12pm until 6pm. Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am and had a very good selection — one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. As always, people were saving sunbeds with towels, and nothing was done about it, so you either had to wait or head to the beach.

“Tired room”

Stayed in block 5. Tired room, could do with a refurb. Walls pretty thin could hear people next door clearly. Breakfast was good.
