“As good as ever”

We have been to RH Ifach on previous occasions because we have never been able to find fault with it but reading reviews over the last few weeks we were slightly worried before we returned. I have absolutely no idea what reviews are complaining about. As always we have enjoyed our holiday so here is the review. We booked a standard room with Jet2 holidays. 3 adults in 1 room on an all inclusive package. The beds are comfortable, plenty of hanging and storage space, TV, kettle with a supply of coffee, mini fridge & free safe. Balcony lovely, bathroom I would say larger than average with 2 sinks - we had a bath but on other occasions a walk in shower. Hairdryer. Shampoo and conditioner provided with some tissues and toothbrush. Lovely thin towels changed every day for us. The room was spotless everyday. Dining:- there is everything you could want, at breakfast, cooked, cereals, yogurts, fruit, breads, eggs cooked how you like. At evening meal a theme each night eg Mexican, roasts etc, salads, pizzas, paella, vegetables, cheeses, desserts, ice cream I couldn’t write a review long enough, there is so much to choose from. The dining room staff during the whole of our stay immediately took our drinks orders (included in AI), kept our table tidy and were a pleasure. Food was replenished when need be. All I would say is if you want a 5 star restaurant dining experience don’t come because it’s not that, it’s a self service AI restaurant. One person had said in their review they were ignored and didn’t get offered a drink - I never observed this and if you asked staff for top ups they were there asap The all inclusive package is the best I’ve experienced anywhere, no cheap cans all branded, branded beers, cocktails made in front of you, sangria, spirits etc The pool and area is spotless plenty of sunbeds at anytime. The pool bar staff are great. The groundsmen empty bins continually, cleaning the pool toilets and keeping everything tidy. You can hire pool towels for a €10 deposit which you get back at the end of your stay. Will we return - yes.

Dear RH Ifach Management, I am writing regarding our current stay . We have been at your hotel for 5 days now and leaving soon. The hotel is very nice, clean, and the housekeeping service is excellent. We also want to thank Rey at the front desk for being kind and helpful since day one. However, we have a serious issue with the parking communication. Before our arrival, we called to inform you that we would have a car. At no point were we told that we had to reserve a parking space in advance or we might not get one. Since our check-in, we have been told we were on a "priority waiting list" for parking. We have asked for updates daily. One day we were told we were not on the list, the next day we were on it again. Today we were shown several different waiting lists, with our name appearing on one of them. After 5 days, we still have no confirmation. This situation is inefficient and very stressful for guests. We are leaving soon and no parking was found for us. Staff at the front desk needs to be more efficient and more professional in giving correct informations to guests. This lack of communication left us really disappointed.

Couldn’t fault room, cleanliness and food. Hotel is a bit dated in the public areas. The bar area is a bit like sitting in a cafe with tables and chairs the only slightly comfy sofas and chairs were placed close to the main entrance. There were some rooms that had sofas and chairs but nobody used them. And doors to them were always closed. The pool was lovely but the flooring around it could do with being replaced as there were cracks in the concrete and where it had been painted that was peeling away in places. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and thankfully reservation of them wasn’t allowed before 10am. Location was good, only 5 min walk from the beach. Taxi to the old town costs about 8 euros. Staff very efficient, rooms cleaned to a high standard.
