Let’s start with the positives Good pool and beds without trying to find a sun lounger Good breakfast with cava Beachfront with sandy beach There is a shuttle bus into Valencia that you need to book at reception However the location is poor Nothing was open Even the sky bar in the hotel only opened Friday and Saturday and closed early at 8pm There are too many rules and the staff in general were abrupt and unhelpful You had to take any drink to your room after 11pm No facilities open due to the hotel being in a residential area and police patrolling Food in the restaurant was average to poor I was surprised to see group bookings for this hotel as they all needed to go to Valencia for any night life - maybe because it’s cheaper than staying in town Very disappointed

A short journey from Valencia, this hotel is ideally located by a large public beach and surrounded by bars, restaurants, and convenient shops and supermarkets. Recently refurbished, the property is immaculately clean, with a great atmosphere. The rooms are modern and thoughtfully designed, featuring nice touches such as quality toiletries, sun hats, QR code biscuits, and a complimentary minibar. Where the hotel falls short, however, is in its service. When you create lobby areas, bars, and restaurants with such a high-end feel, the basics must be executed well. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during my stay. Waiting 10 minutes at the podium to be seated with a reservation for dinner, then a further almost 20 minutes at the table without any service, and having to ask two different staff members four times for something as simple as sparkling water is not acceptable. Similarly, asking for a white Rioja and being met with laughter and told that no such wine exists was both surprising and disappointing. Maybe a one-off but then, on another occasion, we sat in the bar’s terrace area in the sun for 15 minutes waiting to order, only for staff to stand next to us and put up the umbrellas without acknowledging us. We left. Whilst lying by the pool we ordered a coffee, 25 minutes later we had to chase it up again- it was forgotten. Of course, we were on holiday and of course, appreciate the relaxed approach and cultural nuances to service but this is either a 4 star international hotel, or not. Overall, while the “hard product” is excellent, the service falls significantly short. There’s a mismatch between the aesthetic and the standard. It’s a shame, as the hotel is clearly beautiful and well-invested in, but the lack of hospitality made us feel unwelcome, and ultimately, with so many competitors available, I wouldn’t return.

We stayed at this hotel from Friday, originally planning to check out on Monday, but we were so appalled by the service that we left early on Sunday. We visited the restaurant twice on Friday and then again on Saturday, thinking Friday might have just been a fluke. But instead, we were treated even worse. Despite the hotel and front desk staff being pleasant, the restaurant was a nightmare. We were openly discriminated against because we are English. We were acknowledged but left waiting endlessly, while others were served right away. We were seated in a separate area that was not even part of the restaurant, and after a long delay, they finally gave us a menu. Then, they took our payment and never returned our change, even though we clearly waited, and we had no intention of tipping given the appalling service. The server also gave us constant disdainful looks, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. As a result, we could no longer stay, and that is why we checked out early on Sunday. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant, this was an utterly humiliating experience.
