Guests at Bungalows Oasis say: I stayed here with my husband and another couple for the week of Benicassim, we flew into Valencia airport and got a taxi which was about EUR140 but not too bad between 4 people, the train journey sounded like a nightmare. Upon arrival we received a very friendly greeting and they were very warm and welcoming. We paid extra for the ben linen and towels, cant remember exactly how much they were, about EUR9 each I think. The bungalows were great, really modern, so much better than the pictures. We had a bungalow each, so 2 in each one. The shower was amazing, all these different gadgets in there! We did get the air con for EUR50 for the week but we maybe could have done without it, the bungalows were very shaded so didn't get overly hot. Great little kitchenette and a huge fridge, we walked to the local supermarket, about 10-15 min walk and stocked up for the week. The pool area was great, very clean and a lifeguard on duty, keeping everyone in check! It was a mixture of Spanish and English which was nice. There is a great canteen area which serves BBQ food, fresh stonebakes pizzas, pasta, chicken, chips, baguettes, everything you could want really! Again all the staff were so friendly, one day we ordered some food and had to disappear for an hour unexpectedly and when we came back the food was still there and they had kept it all for us. The hotel also had no problem booking us a taxi, although they did take quite a while to come but you expect that when the festival is on. Now - on to Benicassim! The first night we walked and walked for about an hour to try and get a taxi as the hotel said it would be an hour, we should have waited as we ended up in the middle of nowhere trying to hail a taxi and they don't stop!, only the illegal ones stop! We eventually got to the festival at 11.45pm after leaving the Camping Oasis at 9pm! Then when we left the festival we queued at a taxi rank for 2 and a half hours to get back!! Soul destroying! So the next day we bought the tickets for the shuttle bus, best thing we did! It was EUR50 each but considering what you get I thought this was good. The bus stop was only about a 10 min walk from our hotel, easy to get on, there were a few buses waiting each time and had no problem getting on. It drops you about a 20 min walk from the festival, the traffic is murder so it cannot get any closer. But where is drops you is nice in the town in Benicassim so we always stopped for a drink on the way and 1 night had the best tapas ever on the way! Then to get the shuttle bus back is a 10 min walk once you leave the festival gates, there always seem to be a bus coming along within 5-10 mins and once its full up its leaves, this journey is about 15-20 mins but dropped us outside the door of the Camping Oasis on the way back!! I liked the fact that the hotel was out of the madness of being in Benicassim and we relaxed around by the pool all day with no rowdiness. On the last day we had a pipe burst in one of the Bungalows, no-ones fault just at random! They came along within a few mins and fixed the problem! Great service. The only one weird thing is when you flush the toilet it makes this horrendous noise! Not sure why, we never questioned it as we just didn't flush at night so it didn't bother us I could not recommend the Bungalows highly enough for Benicassim and if I get a chance to go back would be booking it up straight away!

“Great find for Benicassim!”

“Amazing for Benicassim”

Excellent customer service really friendly with excellent morals. The other half and I got Into a bit of a situation and they sorted it straight away and it was not a problem for them. Amazing for BENICASSIM or whenever really

“could not recommend this more!!”

Fantastic camp site! I went for a stay over the week of Benicassim festival and it has been the first holiday where everything has run smmothly. “Great campsite, unbelievable value”

Stayed at Camping Oasis for a month from September 9 in a two-bedroomed chalet style bungalow for an amazingingly good price of just €325. The rate, which is available to pensioner couples staying at least 30 days out of season (Sept 1st to the end of June) - does not include WiFi ( that's an extra €25 a month for each connection) or electricity. But even allowing for that, the total cost, including 2 WiFi connections and electricity (0.35 per kWh) came to just over €400 for the month. The bungalow at Oasis, which was called an Oasis bungalow ( there are smaller ones for less money), came equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, a microwave, a large fridge freezer, coffee maker,a wooden dining table with four chairs. There is a double bedroom with bedside tables, lamps and a wardrobe with safe and another bedroom with two singles, a bedside table and wardrobe. It also had a sizeable bathroom with hydromassage shower and toilet. We stayed in a bungalow at another popular campsite 5 minutes up the road in May this year and the Oasis bungalows are far superior in terms of both size and equipment and cost about €180 less for the month. There are some 'down' sides to Oasis. While we were there, the bar at Oasis only opened the first weekend, after which it was closed, and from the beginning of October the reception - admirably run by the very helpful Augustin, who speaks excellent English- closed in the afternoons and all day Tuesday. Also, the campsite showers could do with a bit of TLC and some parts of the site look a bit tired and could do with sprucing up. But these are minor quibbles. If we wanted a drink or a meal, we could walk 2 minutes down the road to the excellent bar restaurant at Camping Didota and, fortunately, everything ran smoothly when reception was closed. If there had been a problem, I'm not sure who we would have contacted but the owners live onsite, so no doubt someone would have helped us. It is surprising, given the great value, there was nobody- apart from our friends- staying in any of the other bungalows. The rest of the campsite - which has pitches with individual toilet/shower rooms - was empty most of the time we were there as well. We didn't mind, of course, as we had the pool to ourselves most of the time but clearly with their very competitive pricing, the owners are trying to attract more business. I would heartily recommend Camping Oasis' bungalows to older people looking for an out-of-season stay at a bargain price. We will definitely be back next year.
