My wife and I stayed at the Chaweng Garden Beach Resort at the beginning of February for 10 days. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and chilled. The hotel lobby is very open, spacious and welcoming, as are the wonderful desk staff. The hotel complex is really nicely designed - from the entrance just off the main beach road, right down to the beach, pool, restaurant and bar. Despite being just off the main road, once inside the hotel grounds, the peace and quiet is amazing and there is no noise from the outside world. There is a long winding pool with a pool bar from just beyond reception which is lovely if you're staying in one of the pool room which we did. The room itself was great - more than enough space and storage and the bathroom is well sized with a really great shower. We had a good size balcony overlooking the pool which was great in the evening whilst having a drink. The main pool area is a very pleasant place to chill during the day. If the tide is high, it can be a little bit crowded due to having more sunbeds around the pool but it didn't bother us. We had sunbeds on the beach for the first couple of days but the tide does come up quite close to the hotel so we had to sunbathe by the pool most of the time. The service around the pool is fantastic - you can get drinks or food from the wonderful staff and the service was prompt and efficient. There is a huge selection of drinks available from the bar and the food was always delicious. The main restaurant is also found by the pool and breakfast here every morning was really superb - a great choice of food and always tasty. There is a Thai Massage parlour next to the pool and we had massages every day. The staff were fantastic here and very knowledgeable and it was good value too - deep tissue Thai massage was 400 baht which is around £8 - an excellent way to spend an hour whilst listening to the waves and wild birds. Arkbar is located next to the hotel on the beach. It's a great bar with great music and fire shows every night from 8pm. Although next door, the noise from the bar was never intrusive once you're back in the hotel. Once outside the hotel on the main road, you're spolit for choice of bars and places to eat. Everywhere we ate, the food was fantastic. You probably pay a little more for the convenience of being on the main beach road but there are plenty of other places to eat and drink if you take a 10 minute walk away from the main road. The night market is also worth visiting. Plenty of food stalls selling amazing food - not as big as Fishermans Village night market but great for a local venue. All in all we had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chaweng Garden Beach Resot.

“Stay here, it’s fabulous”

This is an amazing hotel. It runs between the vibrant main Street and the beach. There are 2 beautiful pools. The monkey pool with its swim up bar and another larger pool near the pool. The beds are not super hard as we had read. They are firm and if you ask for a mattress topper they are soft. We thought the location was ideal. It’s really central with an abundance of night life / restaurants nearby. If that’s not your vibe you virtually wouldn’t know they were there inside the resort. There is a lovely and well priced restaurant and bar at the beach. It’s next to the ark bar. We were worried about noise. We stayed in a ground floor triple pool view room. It was very, very quiet. The resort is under the flight path. Flights are only every so often during the day. There are loads of sun loungers and some in the very welcome shade. Breakfast is near the beach, lots of choice and delicious. The beach is narrow at this part but lovely. The staff are absolutely delightful. The resort is beautiful; established gardens, large trees. I recommend it 100%.

“2nd visit”

2nd visit to this hotel, stayed in room D2 which was perfect for the pool. Staff are so friendly right throughout the resort and work hard to maintain a high level of cleanliness. Room was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was included in our stay and there is always plenty of choice.

Very nice, very clean, on the beach. Breakfast buffet was great. Location in Koh Samui has access to many stores and restaurants. Very nice, very clean, on the beach. Breakfast buffet was great. Location in Koh Samui has access to many stores and restaurants. There's a huge mall (Central Mall) that was walking distance from the hotel. Very close to airport. Ark Bar is next door so you can hear music from there late night but it wasn't too loud from where my room was and didn't disturb my sleep at all. Room was very clean and comfortable.
