This hotel is fantastic. The food, the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness are all 10/10. They make you feel like you living in luxury. Everything you need or want is only a few mins away in cab or the hotels own tuk tuk..Prob one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. EXCEPTIONAL

An amazing hotel with everything you need. The staff was amazing, and it didn’t take long before we became friends with the team. A special thank you to Kuhn for making everything perfect and always greeting us with the biggest smile. We stayed at this hotel for a little bit over 3 weeks, and was so sad to leave.. the rooms were superb and always cleaned, the breakfast was also delicious but could maybe have had some more options. The hotel offers free yoga classes which was a really nice experience. The pool area were very nice and calm, which we really loved. The hotel isn’t close to the sea, but they did offer free accommodation to take you to the beach club. We also celebrated Christmas at the hotel which was an amazing experience with lots of good food. I also got an engaged on this trip, and the staff was so friendly and fixed our room with flowers and champagne. The staff were honestly one of the nicest I have ever met, and when it was my birthday they came to our room with cake and sang to me. All in all this hotel was amazing, and we loved our time there!

“Peaceful, Relaxing and a Great Base for Exploring Koh Samui”

We as family and friends (group of 12) recently stayed at Chi Samui Resort for 12 nights and, overall, had a wonderful holiday. The resort is set in a peaceful and relaxing location, making it the perfect place to unwind. Our room was always clean and tidy, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job throughout our stay. The location was ideal for us. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, with Fisherman's Village just a 5-minute Grab ride one way and Chaweng around 5 minutes in the opposite direction, making it easy to explore both areas. There's also a handy little supermarket at the end of the road where you can stock up on drinks and snacks for a fraction of the price you'd pay in the hotel. The only downside to the location was the number of stray dogs around in the evenings. They were a little intimidating when walking back from the bars and restaurants late at night, although this is more of a local area issue than anything to do with the resort itself. We ate at the hotel several times and the food was always delicious. As you'd expect, prices were higher than eating at the local restaurants, but the quality was excellent, and we never had a bad meal. The standout members of staff were definitely the bar team. They were friendly, welcoming and always full of energy. A special mention has to go to the gentleman we affectionately nicknamed "Barry" (we never managed to catch his real name!). He was an absolute credit to the resort and always had a smile on his face, making every visit to the bar enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception team was a little mixed. Whilst some staff were very helpful, others gave the impression that helping guests was an inconvenience. We also hoped to make use of the complimentary shuttle bus to the beach during our stay, but despite asking on several occasions, we never managed to use it, which was disappointing. One of the biggest disappointments was that it was my husband's 50th birthday during our holiday. We had mentioned it to several members of staff during our 12-day stay, but unfortunately there was no acknowledgement at all. We certainly weren't expecting anything extravagant, but even a simple "Happy Birthday" or a small gesture would have made such a special milestone feel that little bit more memorable. Despite these few negatives, we had an amazing holiday. The peaceful surroundings, comfortable rooms, great food and exceptional bar staff made our stay one to remember. Koh Samui is a beautiful island, and Chi Samui Resort provided the perfect base from which to explore it. We'd happily return in the future and would recommend the resort to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a great location.
