To be honest I was a little worried if this hotel was going to be style over substance, it is definitely not. From welcome drinks and cold towels, to choosing the fragrance of body lotion and soap, plus a physical pillow selection all before we got in the room. We chose a garden pool villa after much deliberation and I’m glad we did - yes you have to cross the road to get to the beach but the garden wing seemed just so much more serene. The room its self was completely different to any room I’d been in before - if you pulled back all the curtains it almost felt you were in a glass box! There was loads of storage and the bathroom was fabulous I also liked the fact room had a mosquito pug in repellent. The pool was phenomenal and just the right temperature, with a large daybed to relax on. Each evening we received a night time tea with turn down. However really what makes this hotel despite the lovely rooms, are the staff. Breakfast was taken at Sexy Fish restaurant and although i have seen reviews on here stating people felt like “ second class citizens” because they couldn’t eat breakfast at the Tent on the beach, i for one was pretty glad - i would much rather eat breakfast in a quiet air conditioned restaurant when its nearly 30 degrees at 8 am Breakfast was both a la carte and buffet and although at first it didn’t look very big - it had an enormous array of foods. Beach was lovely and the beach beds were comfortable. My only bug bear was the smoking - although there was a designated smoking area and it was clearly marked “no smoking” on all the beach beds - this was not enforced We partook in Happy hour most days and had lovely conversations with Oh and her staff. We mainly ate at Sexy Fish in the evening- food was delicious and service was great They also use an app system to communicate wishes/needs and unlike others - a response would be sent within minutes It was also nice to see the general manager Erwin multiple times a day talking to guests Don’t hesitate booking this hotel - you won’t be disappointed

“Great hotel and amazing service”

We had a great time in the hotel. The room had beautiful views and his own pool. Food and spa was great as well. The service is exceptional and they helped us with so many things and were very friendly. Especially Boky and Kate did an amazing job. We will definitely come back one day.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish, could not possibly fault anything, the whole complex staffed by the most welcoming, friendly local people that are all a massive credit to the hotel. From the approachable amiable Dutch general manager always making himself visible to guests, keen to listen and share time with you to the local room maids being all too keen to make sure you had everything you wanted and more. Location and large room with private pool sea view was delightful for us making our 7 night stay an absolute pleasure.
