After 25 hours of travel preceded by copious online research, we finally arrived at the resort with very high expectations. Silavadee did not let us down. It was exceptionally decadent from start to finish. Within hours of arrival we were in the spa for excellent post-travel massages. Our Villa 4 was exceptional. Its pool was dreamy, private, and overlooked the Gulf of Thailand and the hotel's private beach. There are two fully equipped pavilions. You could easily have another couple in the second pavilion, with its own king-bed, bathroom, TV, etc. We set it up as our morning yoga/afternoon nap space. We had our breakfasts in The Heights, and two of our four dinners. The food was all delicious! Whatever construction was left to happen was completely unnoticeable. We used the hotel's beach and airport shuttles, and otherwise took Grab rides, including an open 2-hr Grab booking to visit the Island's temples. I would love to come back one day!

I found Silavadee while researching hotels for our wedding in Thailand with my family, and this resort immediately caught my attention for many reasons. Working with Khun Su, our wedding planner, and her team over the past nine months was such a smooth and positive experience. Since we are from Canada, the 12-hour time difference could have made communication and planning difficult, but Khun Su was always flexible and accommodating. She made many meetings possible and guided us through every idea and detail for our big day with so much care. From the moment we arrived at Silavadee, everything felt magical. We were treated wonderfully by the entire team, with special gifts, warm greetings, thoughtful surprises, and helpful updates. Even last-minute situations were handled with professionalism and care by the general manager and the team, which made us feel truly supported. Khun Su is a gem. She is truly kind, understanding, and dedicated. She went above and beyond to make our special day exceptional. You can really feel that she loves what she does, and she will do everything she can to make the impossible possible. One thing to keep in mind, based on my experience planning a wedding overseas, is that you still need to be very organized on your side. Silavadee handled most of the wedding planning beautifully and offered a true five-star service, but other aspects, such as your bridal party organization, will still be your responsibility. I would also recommend doing a makeup trial and, most importantly, taking the time to embrace the present moment because the day goes by so fast. Again, thank you to Khun Su and the entire Silavadee team. Our wedding was truly magical, and my husband and I are already planning to return to celebrate our anniversary.

We booked Silavadee for our wedding back in 2024 and spent close to two years planning it with Khun Su, Khun Toey and Khun Tik. There were a lot of difficulties in planning a wedding over an extended period of time and across multiple continents for almost 100 people, with different moving parts, decisions and adaptions. The team was always very responsive and in the end we placed a lot of trust in them to take control over the finer details (flowers, decorations and food advice). The team ended up working very collaboratively with us on many things and it was great to see Khun T, Zeagame and Chef Johan in person before the wedding to iron out the finer details. It all worked out perfectly and the Silavadee team helped us create a wedding beyond what we imagined. I want to pay particular thanks to Khun Toey who joined the team quite late into the game and immediately got things moving on multiple fronts - you're an absolute star!!! Other highlights was the wedding setup for the ceremony which we gave almost all creative freedom to the team, flexibility on beverage menus and the introduction of fabulous wine from South Africa and Australia, advice on how to feed 100 people and exceptional service all around (both on the day and throughout our stay). We loved every detail, from allowing us to host a salsa on the beach event, the kind hand written welcome notes, the delicious breakfasts and everything in-between.
