Sometimes, all you need is a few days away from the busy city to slow down and breathe. **Paradise Koh Yao** is exactly that kind of place. 🌴 Tucked away in the middle of nature, the resort feels incredibly peaceful and private. Surrounded by mountains, a quiet beach, and stunning limestone islands across Phang Nga Bay, the scenery is absolutely beautiful. It’s the kind of place where you can forget about your daily routine and simply enjoy being present. One of my favorite things about the stay was the room. We stayed in the **Sea View Plunge Pool Deluxe Studio**, and it was such a relaxing space. The tropical-inspired design, natural surroundings, and soft green and blue tones made the room feel bright, calm, and comfortable. The private plunge pool on the balcony was definitely a highlight. There’s nothing better than taking a dip while looking out at the endless blue sea. 🌊 Waking up to the view every morning was also something special. No rushing, no stress—just beautiful scenery, fresh air, and a peaceful start to the day. If you’re looking for somewhere to disconnect from the outside world and come back feeling refreshed, **Paradise Koh Yao** is definitely worth adding to your list. 💙

Paradise Koh Yao was honestly heaven on earth to us! We were already so excited to stay here but it far exceeded our expectations. It was even more beautiful than we imagined and incredible in so many ways! If you are looking for a true paradise experience surrounded by breathtaking nature, then this is the place to stay! The Transfer - We were picked up from the airport in Phuket. The instructions we received via email were easy to follow to find our driver. - The drive to the Marina took about 20 minutes and we were able to have lunch in a comfortable restaurant at the Marina while we waited for the boat. - The boat trip to the island took about 40 minutes and was very scenic passing by lots of islands. Arrival and check-in: - We were blown away by everything from the moment we arrived. Everything is so incredibly beautiful! - Pristine white sand private beach with coconut palm trees. High cliffs covered in green foliage. Shimmering aquamarine water. Lush jungle and gardens. Brightly coloured butterflies flittering around. Hornbills flying through the trees. A true island paradise! - We were taken on a golf cart a short distance to the check-in desk. The furniture and decor was all gorgeous with a tasteful coastal vibe. - We were immediately greeted with refreshing welcome drinks. - The check-in process was smooth and welcoming and we were swiftly taken to our room. The Room: - We had a room which was perfect for a family of four. There was a queen bed and single bed and the couch had been made up for a fourth sleep space which we didn’t really need because as usual, our youngest ended up sleeping in bed with us. - The coastal decor and furniture was gorgeous and on theme with the rest of the resort. There was lots of windows and being upstairs and surrounded by lush vegetation, it felt like our own private jungle treehouse. - The balcony outdoor area was lovely and the swing chair was a gorgeous feature. I enjoyed relaxing out there with a coffee and my book. - The bathroom was gorgeous with the outdoor shower being a unique feature. - We loved the thoughtful touches; a basin of water with a coconut ladle for washing the sand off your feet before entering the room, a lovely beach bag to use, paradise thongs (my husband forgot to pack his!) and a torch at the bedside. - My only criticism would be that the beds were very firm and pillows a bit lumpy but we still had a pleasant sleep. The Restaurant: - We were worried that being on an island, the food would be expensive but the prices were actually very reasonable. - The food was very good quality, delicious, healthy and fresh. The Thai salads were excellent. Not a stomach upset between any of us! - The variety at breakfast was great and of good quality. We particularly enjoyed the turmeric and ginger tonic juice, noodle soups, fluffy pancakes and tasty omelettes. - The coffees were good too. - The staff were friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar - We loved this little beach bar! - Happy hour was excellent and had a great festive yet tranquil vibe with delicious cocktails and mocktails. - It was decorated for the Football World Cup and they had it playing on a tv screen which we absolutely loved as we are a “soccer family” and our son is obsessed with all things soccer. The general manager even told our son he could keep one of the decorative football trophies which was very kind of him! - The service from the staff was terrific! Activities: - We had a number of activities included (kayaking, paddle boarding, Batik painting, island boat trip). All were very enjoyable and staff were friendly and helpful! - Unfortunately we ran out of time to go mountain biking, visit the village or try the spa. Pool: - The pool area is gorgeous and has a very tranquil and relaxing vibe. Bonfire Night: - We were so glad that we were there for the Tuesday Bonfire Night. A very special thank you to management for putting it on. It was so special and very much appreciated by us! - The drinks and canapés were delicious! - The fire show was terrific! Checkout: - We had a 1pm boat transfer reserved. As it was raining, the staff kindly allowed us to have a 12.30pm checkout from our room which was greatly appreciated. Additional notes: - There is construction going on which was noisy during the day but it didn’t bother us too much. The new buildings look like they will be incredible when they are finished. - An indoor air-conditioned gym would be a great future addition. We enjoy working out and we noticed many of the other resort guests looked like fit and active people who would also appreciate an indoor gym. We did use the jungle exercise facility however it gets slippery when it’s been raining and exercising outside when it’s so hot and humid is quite unpleasant. A small indoor gym would be a great option for an activity when it is raining or too hot to exercise outside. - For our kids (aged 10 and 13 years) it felt very safe and we didn’t worry about them going places throughout the resort by themselves. They felt very free to explore and enjoyed everything about the resort. They both wished we stayed longer. - We love nature and thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by gorgeous lush vegetation and all the unique wildlife. Well done to management and staff for creating such an exceptional resort! We thoroughly appreciated the thoughtful touches and attention to detail throughout this resort. We stayed 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. While we were there I was texting all my friends and family telling them about this place because I couldn’t get over how incredible it was!! We will most certainly be back, it was three days of perfect bliss!

“Untouched Beauty”

Peaceful, tropical, nature submerged resort. 5*’s all round. Pricey but worth it!
